I would love to do a test of a sailing boat (a proper one, not a AS boat)
and have it "get into trouble" just inside Indo 12 mile limit and see what
happened.
I wouldn't fancy your changes - I don't think Indon SAR have charts since they seem to prefer the comfort of their harbours.

I think you will find that's WHY the people of Australia turfed the previous mob out and voted in a centre-right government. The Libs said they would scrap it, the people voted for it, and here we are.
So who's naive enough to believe that when Abbott cans the "carbon tax", electricity will go down in price having theoretically increased in price because of it?

"p.s. What's is got to do with someone in Mexico anyway ? "

Good point. I hadn't noticed that.

They would have had a whole ministry and some taxes for the Y2K hoax as well if they'd had the chance.

I wonder if Flannery will use his redundancy money to buy a waterfront property just like his mate Gillard did.

Australia did wake up and turfed out the people who said they wouldn't introduce a carbon tax but then after they were elected turned around and did the exact opposite and after 3 years Australia has elected a government that said they would abolish the carbon tax and are doing just that and we got exactly what we voted for.

What's your problem with that?

The lefties don't like the fact that we turfed them out !!!

So they will bitch, scream and moan all the way for the next 3 years
every time one of their icons is demolished.

So that means 2 years, 50 weeks of it to go

Climate Commission gone? Great news, the amount of hot air they produced was probably causing the so called global warming, or climate change or whatever they call it this week.

Did you see that some guys where planning to go to the North Pole in a boat to demonstrate how much the ice is melting...but they had to abandon the trip because of the extensive ice coverage!!

By the way. Does that mean that Tim Flannery is out of a job?

SOPS

Did you see the photo of the Ice coverage this year in the North Pole area ?
It was in one of the papers. I'll see if I can find it.

Like way more than it was supposed to be.

And of course the Northwest Passage has frozen up earlier than
expected, another nail in the coffin of the Global Warmers !

The cynics and sceptics need not worry. Rumour has it that there's to be a Commission of Enquirey (with the powers of a Royal Commission) to help determine if the earth is flat or round. JWH will preside over it while the erstwhile Member for Indi will assist.

Well, the Member for Indi is reputedly a Green, so her getting involved in pointless activities makes some sort of sense, Ken.

Clare
Flannery has waterfront property on the Hawkesbury River; reputedly purchased after he began his 'rising sea levels' scare mongering.

`However Professor Flannery said today there was a strong need for accurate information on climate change amid an increase in “propaganda” aimed at misinforming the public.'

Tim would know being the greatest propagandist since Baghdad Bob; How are our dams doing in Melbourne Tim?

A great start to returning to common sense; keep up the good work PM

>>ps what is the state of the dams, etc in Mexico at present?

Ken ........ I shouldn't worry too much about the Earth being flat or round as scientists from the University of East Anglia have just announced that "global warming" will cause the end of the world ........ in approximately 3.5 billion years time.
Then again if they have used computer modelling to arrive at their findings we may have reason to worry.
