MungoP,

The stewards apply very lax rules on the first couple of corners - just look at the numbers going through them line abreast and diverting onto the grass etc from the start at every circuit. Better to allow a transgression than have someone at the front stamp on the brakes cause a major pile-up.

You can't have expected Jean Todt to punish a Ferrari driver can you ?

Ferrari have extra information about implementation of the 'moving under braking' rule (first enforced last race when Seb was penalised and demoted).
Apparently it's not an appeal, but a desire for clarification of the rule.

Scuderia call for review into Vettel's penalised Mexican GP clash with Ricciardo after citing "new evidence"; Vettel has insisted he did nothing wrong.

When will they learn? This time of year at Interlagos, it rains. Quite a lot. Now the race is stopped. Well I never!

Is there a race on at Interlagos today? I'm watching Sky, but cannot see any racing....

Edit: Just re-re-started now, guess the drivers said they didn't want breakfast there.

Poor ol' Massa. At least it's the last time Interlagos will punch him in the gut.

WRT Verstappen, I wonder if a more conservative tyre strategy would have seen him able to challenge for the lead?

Not the way LH was driving but he would certainly have skinned Rosberg alive as he did earlier in the race.
