It doesn't look very European to me considering the castle like structure or the building. The bus colour scheme is that of some buses in part of the south of France but there's nothing I can pinpoint and that would not be NW quadrant of Europe really. I'm stumped.

Ok. I think I got my geography straight now.
Double checked with all the means I knew.
Yes, it is on the East side of Greenwich Meridian and North of Equator. So 500N, you are correct.
It is in EU country (Europe). Sorry all for the confusion. Mea Culpa.

Hang on for a reality check please. We've had this Eastern/Western hemisphere discussion before. I've forgotten most of my geography lessons but by "Western" I mean the Americas. Perhaps best not to use Western/Eastern any more
So I gather we can rule the Americas out. I'l go out on a limb and say it's definitely not Europe. And the traffic seems reasonably disciplined so it's not likely to be Africa either.
Instinct is moving toward some countries in SE Asia.
Edit after Jetsy's last post: Please erase my "definitely not Europe". Rebooting!

We need a lesson in botany and traffic discipline. The trees look Central American to me: one type of tree has crowded out all others. But if they're not Central American, where on the Med - as Capetonian suggests - could they be?
Are we heading for Bella Italia or the other side of the Adriatic?

the UN logistics base is in Brindisi.
if you look at the google maps nearly all major roads around brindisi radiate out from that town/city.
Brindisi, Italy ?
I can find no image at all of the fortress in the photo.
the assumption is based entirely on 3 items.
it is in italy.
the blue flag, why would anyone not associated with the UN fly one?
"all roads lead to here", the classic quote is 'all roads lead to rome', but a look at the map shows it equally true for brindisi.
