I'd vote (D) before I'd vote for McChing (can't say her name or I have to pay $5).

Ask her about the time she took off without checking the tanks.

1. GEAR UP

2. DECLARE EMERGENCY

And that's just one of the legion of buffoonery stories on her.

She also got where she got because 'she' was a poster child for the 1st female SECAF.

There are and have been soooo many better examples of women fighter pilots who didn't make their career on "entitlement," but on ability.

McChing did.

She's running as an (R) simply because it's Arizona. Otherwise, she'd be right at home with Pelosi and Frank.

TD,

Fitzgerald very much intened to indict Rove at the same time he did Libby....until Rove's Lawyer explained why Rove was asking his staff to search for emails pertaining to a conversation with a Reporter which he had not told the Grand Jury about. When the fact it was the Lawyer who caused Rove to search for the emails....and not Rove....it removed any concern the Special Prosecutor had about Rove's actions/statements in the Plame Case.

Remember that Rove cooperated with the Grand Jury, testified numerous times, and provided all manner of documentation. He released Novak to identify him to the Special Prosecutor and the Grand Jury thus allowing his contact with Novak to be examined without prejudice to Novak.

You and others may not like him....but you have to acknowledge his actions were examined in great detail and at length by the Special Prosecutor and no charges were filed.

SAS,

You're wasting your time. It's been my experience that once the contempt has been planted, there is no reasoning allowed.

Meanwhile, back to good old Joe, he's inspired a lot of creative caption competitions all over the web today.

Isn't that number forwarded to Hillary's cell? After all she said she knows what to do if it rings at 0300.

So,

Republicans 1-0-1

Democrats 0-1-1
Connie according to my wife it's Republicans 2-0-0. She watched about 30 minutes of the debate, then made an extremely rude comment about Biden and went to bed.

Then shouldn't it be;

Republicans 2-0-0

Democrats 0-2-0

?

If my old university debate professor had been judging the VP debate, Biden would have gotten an F, Ryan a B+.

zingers that paul ryan could have used but didn't

Being a gentleman when you are talking to either a drunk or a senile person is hard. Of course there were things that could easily have been done by paul ryan to counter the mouth that roared...among them:

1. Is that the blarney stone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
2. Mr. vice president, it is quite well known that as senator, you took the train from the great state of Delaware to Washington DC. As such, I'm sure you are well aware of the great beauty along the way. Tell us Mr. Vice president, what is considered bigger, the mouth of the susquehanna river or your mouth? ( river is along the train route)

3. Martha, I realize you are obligated to do a fair job of moderating, but of course this really hard when both candidates don't play by normal rules of civility...so, will you keep the vice president quiet while I respond or do I have to knock his block off

4. Mr. vice president, I understand that a child in the third grade with your problem would be offered ridlin (drug).

But, Paul Ryan just reminded us that the obama administration has lied about the ambassador's death, has failed to make the economy thrive, and has reduced our military readiness.

I remind you all that the number of soldier suicides is huge, and that by cutting the number of soldiers, any future war will have even MORE combat deployments lleading to associated problems.

I will also remind people that the military operation involved in ousting Libyan leader moamar khadafi req'd the USA to supply munitions to the rest of NATO as those countries had run out.

yup...obama/biden...screwy, naive and dangerous...

romney/ryan sures makes sense to me.

Sad that Democrats are still re-litigating Rove, Plame, etc.

C'mon TurbineD, anything to say about Fast & Furious? About Syria? About foreign donations to POTUS re-election campaign? About still staggering unemployment? About Elizabeth "Tom Tom" Warren? About Biden laughing at deaths of Americans?

Didn't think so, nope. Get with the program. Less than a month to elections and you are dragging up old Karl Rove again. Sheesh, gimme a minute and I'll find something damning but irrelevant on Carville.

The reason the Democrats, such as Turbine D, keep trying to dig up the past, is a failed effort to keep attention off of what a colossal failure this Administration has been.

Oh, by the way, you left out Russia not renewing the Arms Treaty that has been enforce for decades. Another great success of Obama's foreign policy.

Of course there were things that could easily have been done by paul ryan to counter the mouth that roared...among them:
Actually, Ryan had the perfect zing... He used it... But he did it the wrong way around and in two parts.

At one point he asked the VP to stop interrupting him and allow him to speak. Later on he made the quip about the VP needing to repair the damage done by his boss.

Had he simply and respectfully stated " Mr. Vice President, he country is well aware of your desperate need to repair the damage to your campaign done by your boss last week but they are looking to hear debate not a monologue by you, please let me finish without further interruption".

Debate over...

It's quite clear the "desperate need to" comment was per-conceived but the failure to anticipate Biden being aggressive and using interruption as a tactic was an oversight on the part of Ryan's trainers...

Water under the bridge - no harm was done...

No need to retract anything. The trick played was dirty; I'm just not sorry McChing is the target.

Brick, it was more a dig at Sultan than anything else, but I'm not about to use an example as you described as ammunition. There's plenty more available and all I need to do is wait for the groundhog to poke his little head out of the hole to see if there's six more weeks of Winter.

The gang that never accepts responsibility

So it was Ryan's fault that Biden laughed, uncontrollably:

White House defends Biden's debate demeanor - Washington Times

If Vice President Joseph R. Biden smiled too much during his debate Thursday night, the White House said the blame lies with Republican Rep. Paul Ryan and his position on the Obama administration's 2009 stimulus plan.

What is pathetic about the White House response is, that is the best they can come up with in an failed attempt to defend Biden.

Grand Slam

Spoosed to keeps your yap shut....

Special Agent Vince Cefalu has worked for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms for more than 25 years. On top of successfully placing dozens of hard criminals behind bars throughout his career, Cefalu has received promotions and consistently positive evaluations. When he started raising his voice about ATF corruption and illegal wiretapping in 2005, things changed. Tuesday evening, Cefalu was asked to meet Special Agent in Charge of the San Francisco Field Division Joseph Riehl at a Denny's Restaurant near Lake Tahoe. When he arrived, he was served termination papers in the parking lot. Classy move.

How did I know that this was related to Operation Fast and Furious !

And sure enough, half way down the page, their it was.

IMHO, Operation Fast and Furious has to rank up at the top of the list with Watergate, the only difference being everyone in Operation Fast and Furious
has got away with it so far, except the LAFO's who were killed with the guns.

I do NOT expect anyone to get busted for it while Obama is in office
and not sure what could be done if and when he leaves office.

But for the ATF of all of the Law Enforcement groups to do what they
did makes my mind boggle considering the rest of the organisation
is trying to bust people for doing the same thing !

How is that the Secret Service, under Obama, have to continusously purge the experience of protecting him, with such extreme?

Secret Service member arrested in Miami - CNN.com

I heard on talk radio he had his Secret Service badge in his pocket. The question was if he was carrying his weapon. He was so passed out, it's a surprise, that in Miami, he wasn't rolled.

No doubt, once he reached D.C., he walked the plank and contributes to new unemployment numbers.

Hmmmmm.....would he be entitled to the tax dollars for unemployment status?
