Does Michelle design the dogs' menu? Just asking, because if it is anything like the stuff she wants school kids to eat I bet the dogs would have preferred a bit of this guy's rump.

I find the level of protection surrounding today's presidents hideous and up republican in the old sense of being "one of the people"; not royalty. The TFRs, the motorcades, the snipers, the imposition on foreign countries, the formations planes. Clinton's Australia visit in '96 required a deployed squadron tankers to refuel the transports. Absolutely ridiculous!

TR was shot and said something to the effect politicians should stand with the people fully exposed to the dangers. A speech and heavy coat saved his life. And, don't forget, JFK was likely killed by his own government.

GF, Also remember TR went on to finish a very long speech after being shot before heading off to the Hospital.

I strongly recommend folks read his speech on Americanism....it holds true yet to day if one substitutes current nationalities for the ones he refers to as Immigrants in his Speech.

Have to agree with the JFK not being offed by the feds camp.

I have yet to believe that any major secret can be kept for very long.

Especially one by the government.

As anyone who has worked for the US government will tell you.

Which is why so many secrets are not.

It was the Mafia, New Orleans franchise, that killed JFK.

Not to rejoice in Schadenfreude, but it appears that the Iranians have kicked off their other prime Holiday. You all know of Ramadan but there is a lesser know one called Kaboom.

The one comforting thing about Iran (and N. Korea and Pakistan) having nuclear weapons is that the ideologues running and ruining those countries are also the ones running their nuclear weapons programs.

I suspect Israel is perfecting its plan to make utter fools of Iran as part of its plan to destroy their imminent A-bomb introduction. At least I hope so.

As you know, rh200, the F-15 is not and will never be a stealth aircraft. I wonder at what caused the explosion recently in Iran's nuclear facility: simple human error, or something more onerous?

As I consider the Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to President Obama and former Vice-president Al Gore, despite my admonitions to the contrary, I no longer consider the micturations of the wobblies in Norway worthy of any consideration whatsoever.

The prizes in Crackerjacks used to be better as well. I think they must use the same criteria.

Funny line on Colbert last night--the solution to Ebola is give the white blood cells guns and the virus hoodies! Problem solved.

Also, the difference between the NBA and the NFL is the NFL players play in a real court.

Man, this Administration will lie about the lie. Yet the media is still slow to go the full "Nixon" on them despite numerous scandals -

IRS
VA
Fast and Furious
Benghazi
Secret Service (see below)
EPA
tripling the US debt
record numbers on welfare/food stamps
record numbers having left the labor force
comments to Russia about "having more room after the election"
Iraq imploding
Syria ignoring him
Russia ignoring him
China ignoring him
ISIL ignoring him
Ebola
and to cap it all off, Guantanemo Bay is still open (sound like the old Saturday Night Live skit...)
