Seen the thing about the about the Bermuda Triangle,it was ok but as all such progs tend to do, it lapses into Sci Fi toward the end.
It certainly did that. Could make the last meal service a bit rushed if we land up in that yellow fog! I did find the first part of it quite interesting though.

(Maybe the time warp theory explains why when anyone mentions the Bermuda Triangle to me, it brings to mind that dodgy series, Triangle, from the 80's. )

Glad I'm not the only one never to have heard of this Wayne Shorter chap!

Isn't there a wee hole that you poke a straightened paperclip into to eject the disc?

Mr P appears a bit unlikely, on consultation, to stick paperclips into the player, which he tells me is a Cyrus SE. That may mean something to you techy types?

Don't matter, all the same. Pity you don't have someone close by to check it out.

Best.

I bought a nice Sony discman years ago for travelling around Oz when I was looking for work. Worked a treat but then the [email protected] tracking thing froze.

As I was wrapping it to send away I dropped it. It worked fine after that.

Stockie, try dropping it.

Buggers, the lot of you.

If I were close, I'd sort it out. Been doing it for friends, family, neighbours for yonks.

Life goes on.

Evening all.

Lexx wants me to pass on her thanks for your comments. She has read them on the tv on an arm that resides in her room, but it is too fiddly for her to reply (one arm being out of action holding a wriggly child, and Gabriel on the other one.....).

My part in all this was to be there, fetch water and straws and have my had crushed at regular times intervals. The TV has a clock in the bottom right corner, when the minute approached, I knew what was coming!

Overall, from 7am to 2am was hell for Lexx, but she came through it. Fortunately, the doctor and the on call consultant decided that it was not in the best interests of mother or baby to prolong the labour as both were getting more and more distressed.

Anyway, all is well, both are doing very well, and I am home drinking a beer!

Veuve is in fridge for when Lexx gets home......

I think Stockie might just have misunderstood the 'poking with a paperclip' thing.

There is, or should be, a small pinhole on the front of the device which is designed for such poking.
