Morning all, life calming down a bit now after a somewhat frantic week. One is on sole childcare this weekend, as Mr P is in Lisbon and Grandma Picker's away too; so poor old Stockette will get dragged to the Kirk all morning on Sunday. I might suggest she takes a book. And a sketchpad. I will fight any suggestion of taking the DS though.

Drapes - the sea would have been very lumpy during the night though. It's alright for you maritime chappies but I reckon the Toon will be covered in vom a little earlier than usual on a Friday if the pax on that ferry are anything like me.

Yesterday's 'pretend trade' is 32 pips in the money. We'll keep it on with a stop at +10 and a target of +50 or so.

Nice morning for a change down in Silly Sussex.
At least the rain's gone, for the moment anyhow.
Central heating expired last night. Chap should be
coming to fix it later on. Bl**dy PCB has failed yet
again. I'll leave him to it. Can't be bothered to do it
myself any more. It's the second time it's failed in the
last ten years. They don't make them to last long at all.
At least it didn't freeze last night. One should be thankful
for that.
Glad I kept the gas fire in the front room, nice to huddle round it.

Richard Thomson said it best.

"I agree with Pat Metheny.
Kenny's talents are too teeny."

What a bloody night. Still windy now. Lots of reports of very smelly aircraft arriving on stand last night.

Luckily we only lost a fence panel, the neighbours rental agents are replacing it for us which is great. Neighbours have a dally x pointer.

Magnus, gotta agree, altho' his lyrics seem to indicate he's related to our FSL..
Grab your hunting rifle, strap your colt on
It's open season on our Ken
Mind you the aforementioned Mr Metheny certainly held a point of view about the curly haired one as well.
his lame-ass, jive, pseudo bluesy, out-of-tune, noodling, wimped out, f*cked up playing all over one of the great louis’s tracks

The chap was obviously Court short.

Nice to see that a Qing Dynasty VASE was sold at auction
yesterday for £43,000,000.
At least someone has a few quid floating about.

Plans for an extended holiday will be being made by someone.

The Irish Finance Minister just put out a statement, saying that the EU partners have full confidence in the country’s budget strategy and that he welcomes the solidarity shown by them. He stresses that any further private sector burden sharing “will not apply to outstanding debt and any programme under current instruments”. New burden sharing requirements agreed with the EU at the G20 summit will only apply after mid-2013. This should help to reduce tension in the market.

Would that be Chesapeake Bay?

If so, I've driven over that bridge.

If not, then I've probably not.

Hmm, bit breezy that was. One just dropped a log onto a paving slab, shattering the latter. Ah, well, another little job to squeeze on the bottom of the list.

Still wet and blowy.
