Can't get more British than a Spitfire, right?

The BNP, universally known for being a collection of well-meaning geniuses, have had a cracker today:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/4935429/BNP-uses-Polish-Spitfire-in-anti-immigration-poster.html

Next time they're using spitfires as a backdrop to campaign against immigrants, best check that it's not got a Polish pilot, eh lads?

Would it be fair to assume they are all in favour of immigration as long as immigrants are gainfully employed and needed?

I don't think those satisfied with New Labour's immigration policies (or lack of) would be able to form much of a fighting force.

Did they have better luck at trying to stop the "Polish Chit Chat"?

Angel "Mitzi! Mitzi!"

Even back then those Poles were flying Hurricanes and Spitfires for a fraction of the pay of the British pilots in the RAF. Against that kind of unfair competition the poor old RAF couldn't get a look in, could they?

The Spitfire - and Hurricane which all know actually won the Battle of Britain but not as sexy as the Spit' - were all British, but the Polish - and for that matter FAA & New Zealand pilots did extremely well...

" Stop that Polish chip / chat ! " didn't affect their understandably aggressive approach - I'm sure we'd all feel the same if our country had just been over-run by Nazi's - could comment more re. Thatcher but I'll leave it there...

So the journalists for this item can identify an English aircraft flown by a Polish Pilot from a Polish Squadron in the RAF but they still show pictures of Boeings when talking about an Airbus

Having captioned it invariably as Boeing A380.

Wings, engines, noisy.
Just to add, causes ice caps to melt, kills polar bears.

Now, ought I mention the RAF was founded after recommendations by, and with the assistance of, a Colonial? I'm referring to the bloke whose name used to be on Johannesburg's airport.

They had their chance....."ts pilots were the only representatives of the Polish Army invited to the London Victory Parade in 1946. But they refused the invitation because no other Polish units were invited".

Good Grief!

Those Boeing A380's must be flying really low to hit the polar bears!

Having captioned it invariably as Boeing A380.
Or, alternatively, an Airbus 777
