Was he ok? Looked like a happy ending but the CNN link doesn't seem to work.

Saw simillar at a couple of years ago in NW- guy thankfully walked out but scared me eld mum half to death.

"Don't mind ya flyin em son, but don't go too high and don't go too fast,"

Never did explain the principles entrenched in "Stick and Rudder."

(She did eventually come flying)

Update on the Cessna 172RG wheels-up landing

A pilot instructor and student escaped unharmed when a single-engine plane being used for an instruction flight touched down safely Thursday on one wheel, after trouble with its landing gear was reported.
The male instructor, Nikola Vadjon, 34, of Garwood in Union County, and his female student exited safely after landing at the Morristown Municipal Airport just before noon. The student' name was not immediately available.

(includes a video - took a while for the foam to come onstream)
I presume it was a 'right-seat' landing . . .
. . . well done that man!

Edited to add:-
Officials say the man was an experienced flight instructor and was piloting the plane during the landing. He was training the woman, described as being in her 20s and learning to be a commercial pilot.
