Different Fancy Dress ideas

A few of us have organised a disco next week for 12-14 year olds within a school, and its fancy dress. Now as one of the organisers, I am obliged to show up in something rather extravagant looking.

My initial ideas for something different were along the lines of a previous character from a U2 tour, inspired after I bought the Zoo TV DVD recently.

Meet Mr MacPhisto, a corrupt rockstar/gay devil type figure

a la Elvis gold suit style. I was rather looking forward to it, or maybe it is just an excuse for me to wear makeup.

The red shirt and horns are easy to find, a suitable gold lame suit isn't!

Any other ideas, something different to steal the show?

Hope you've taken note of the Cheesy Music thread - i'm sure the teenie-boppers will love all those songs mentioned

You say "something different"...

How about a male prostitute outfit? [whatever they wear]

Go to your local fabric shop, purchase 4-5 meters of unbleached muslin, cut it into strips approximately 4 -5 inches wide, then proceed to wrap your entire body in the fabric and secure with small safety pins.

There you have it one amazing 'mummy' costume for around $20-25.

Cheers, HH.

PS: If you must where make up, you can always wear it underneath...
