Well now, alternate Wenesday in February with the Tim Curry triple bypass with reverse pretzel means that I should now be entitled to play Shepherd's Bush.

I tried to look at a Shepherdess' bush once. She hit me.

Mr Grumpy, I am in no doubt that you are aware of Mrs Trellis's rulings on plagiarising historical moves from the pages of PPRuNe.

The osscilation was plagiarised and as such is invalid. You of all people should know the criterion needing to be fulfilled prior to exercising such an (outlawed) ossilation!

I await Mr Jordan's esteemed opinion on this matter. In my 172 years experience of this noble sport I have NEVER come across such sluggish disregard for the stipulated regulations, adjuncts and addendums.

We need to pull our socks up fellow MC'ers as at this rate its only a matter of time until the first sighting of burberry is reported on these hallowed pages and the local co-op becomes a valid move under the 'innit' ruleset.

Back to the business now chaps...

Well, now. Thursday evening. The cat's away. So I think I'll play... Mornington Crescent.

Now then, where should I take us on our little journey? Hmmm? How's about Marylebone? Follow that!

Time for the 'big guns' old chaps....

I think I've got the hang of this, now....

Can I play Jamspangler's Gambit on a Circle Line diagonal? If so, then Gunnersby.

Wasn't Jamspangler shown up as a fraud in the 1997 Warsaw Orthodoxy? Something to do with the use of ringers during long periods of play, one thinks.

No mind. A Linear Shuffle using the Reykjavik Consummation to

Custom House

A little more attention to the line velocities may be in order, Mr Thumper, lest one find oneself in spoon...

All the above is duly noted: admittedly, Jamspangler was considered a tad unorthodox in his heyday.

Still, I think a double-reverse from there, assuming North Circular dodges are allowed under Grieves', means Stamford Brook.

In future, I think I'll leave Jamspangler well alone.

Mr Thumper, one would pay attention to the esteemed Twotter's warnings of spoon et al...He is our resident expert on said matter and also holds the PPRuNe record for finding ones self in a state of creel over yuletide at Dollis Hill.

Heed the warning!!

Methinks I'm a little out of my league on this one: the games we used to play with dear old Uncle Susan were always a lot less involved. Might I respectfully suggest the next game is played according to Crenshaw's Principles, to give us amateurs a fighting chance?

One's Grieves' Notation indicates the use of Crenshaw Principles to be the done thing on a wet Sunday in February. Thus

I haven't played in a while because I've been busy, so a quick move to Oakwood for the fun of it.
