Re: Mornington Crescent

Ahha - but under the Industrial Action and Other Disputes Accord which was agreed at the Wapping Conference of 1979, stations which are closed as a result of industrial action are deemed to be available for transversing but not for reverse stomping for the duration of the strike.
The Livingstone Integrated Transport Rules 2002 obviously had a slight impact on this, to the extent that transversing is only permitted if the Napoleon manoeuvre is available to at least 2 other players.
A move to St Paul's would therefore be in order at this stage.

Dollis Hill

I note Twotter hasn't been around today. Doesn't like the loop, he doesn't.

It's all bluff. You're running from incipient creel.

Re: Mornington Crescent

*ahem*

Not according to the Fanshawe-Cruikshank interpretation of the Delville Corollary. It appears Hainault is considered a loose cannon used in conjunction with Dollis Hill and King's Cross on an even numbered Monday and should not be used for any limiting moves as it has the capacity to backfire on the player. It appears you are in tweak, Mr Matlow.

Tweak, eh? I'm impressed. Didn't expect you to dust off Fanshawe-Cruikshank. Wasn't even sure that it was legal to own a copy down there in Planet Tharg.

Re: Mornington Crescent

hmmmmm....a difficult choice awaits. The Earl of Dollis Hill has raised qustions in the house - he wants to know why an obsession has been aroused within this forum concerning his manor. In the interests of persuasion and diplomacy, I therefore declare that he can go spin and....

Re: Mornington Crescent

Fanshawe-Cruickshank was an imposter and no self respecting player of this noble game considers the above publication to hold any credence.Possibly this is the direct reason why Mr Twotter finds himself in creel so oft!

There is a lesson there!

Re: Mornington Crescent

Cripes, what's been going on around here? As the bu%%ers are all on strike again, I think there's no option to avoid Dollis Hill but to head towards Reading on the old "Monday cricket bat" ruling. Well, here's me cricket bat and the only bird that comes to mind is Martin's Heron.

What's so special about Martin's heron anyway? I've got a lovely puffin but you don't hear me shouting about it do you? Let's hear it then, what birds have you lot got?

And why do I have to edit this cos I can't spell?

Re: Mornington Crescent

We had a very nice goose for Christmas. The Sunday lunch chicken was rather good, too (with spuds roast in goose grease). I've never eaten puffin, what's it like?

Nice to see you around Mr Bear.
