Fellow Mornington Crescent players
May I introduce myself as a long time student of the game (I was a pupil under the great Valery Shinkakovic at the Trellis Academy many years ago) and offer, as my first move in this game, London City Airport.

Re: Mornington Crescent

A fine opening play, Mr 77. One feels the Schreidlinger Imperative to be one of the more colourful opening gambits. One will remain within the spirit of that gambit and play

Parson's Green

...thus avoiding pantaloon.

Re: Mornington Crescent

I see our right honourable Mr twotter still insists on dancing with creel!!

Last night one was unfortunate enough to be subjected to 3 minutes of 'Eastenders' as a direct result of bad remote control discipline, this has (as the rules clearly state, placed me in a state of pantaloon. Therefore this evenings first offering shall have to be...

I'm too tired to explain, go look up page 315, paragraph B, Section C, Appendix 341a.

Re: Mornington Crescent

NFET, I hardly see how a page on 'density altitude' bears any relevance to this particular match!

And a debut in '06 for the 'Tony Johnstone-Burt Dartmouth ploy' I shall play...

Re: Mornington Crescent

ex_matelot - I see you mentioned Bears again - black & white ones no doubt. This leads me to believe that you and the endagered one are teaming up to bring a new style of play, possibly with creel avengence ? I demand you reconsider and play a forward thinking St Barnabasaroo.

Re: Mornington Crescent

Good grief, I only step out a minute and someone let's Twotter claim an MC. Come on chaps, buck up there!

I'm interested in the Waterloo opening gamit. Reminds me of one of my dad's little sayings

Waterloo, circle line, jubilee, relief.
Waterloo, northern line, brings nothing but grief.

Which of course forces me to play
