Hmm, that's a toughie. If one applies the Ffarquhar and Wunderlich imperative, I believe that the only way out of this one, m'lud, is a quick play to Elephant and Castle (pronouced "Kings Cross" in certain Indonesian dialects, I'll have you know).

Happy Easter....

Thank you Mr Twotter, your inattention allows me to move to St .Johns Wood Using the, Marconi and Plessey precision approach. Enjoy your consilatory Tea Mr Twotter.

Edited by LG to correct errors.

Tea's up!

Edited to add that one has now seen one's edit for the Marconi/Plessey approach.

Hmm, that's a toughie.
Was begining to worry that I made it too tough and the match ends in a stalemate and take a long time for me to live down the ignominy. In fact, cannot remember the last time a match ended in stalemate and what happened to the player who forced the stalemate.

Anyway, going to play safe this after tea move, thus taking us to Kings Cross.

In their grand final at Quebec 1931 and fresh from a riverside sleep. The Anglo German duo; Josiah & Stiltskin played Embankment, my variation will be a Fong's Easterley to Limehouse .

It is cunning, I'll give you that!

But you're forgetting - it's already Sunday here, meaning that I am allowed to play Shoreditch which is closed on Saturdays but open for part of Sunday!

It's the las time I'll be able to do this as I'm heading back to yerp for Chrimbo tonight... Ho-hum, back to normality.

The Carvalho Syntax of the 1989 Shoreditch Conundrum purports to allow the inclusion of a triple switch to the spoon side but one is not so sure it falls within the Laws according to Fotheringham and Dalgleish.

Nevertheless...

According to Fotheringham and Dalgleish, you can't triple switch to the spoon side after the fouth diversion to the upper board, which the Limehouse to Wimbeldon move clearly was.

Unless of course you are playing the Dohar Round Trump, with the inclusion of 'Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred' rule, as it was affectionately known. And if you are then, it will be intersting to see where anyone can go after this.....

So.....Shepard's Bush to Pimlico

You've got to admit this one is rather neat (and it get's us back of page two)

Shepherd's Bush

That's a reversed spoon reverse for those who like the technical names.

That move blocks the reciprocal double-shunt under the Leibnitz adjudication of 1968 so I have to make my first move of Royal Oak

Very clever......

The Quercus regis gambit isn't often seen these days. I thought about countering with spoons, but that really would leave me open to being pantalooned and I don't think I could cope with the humiliation. As far as I can see the only way out of this while preseving my dignity is:

Elephant and Castle
