Unsure of the legality of this next one considering the furore that erupted during the Hofstedter rally of '64 where the manginot ruleset was observed and the 'marmaduke dilation gambit' was played by a certain Francis Rossi who is famous for some reason or other was played. It resulted in a certain Brigadier Percy Templeton=Templeton Higginbottom swallowing his own eyeball it would seem but here goes...

I thoroughly recommend you read.
Boberts and Highbrawn Treastis, Underground my Garden.
The left hand move of Croxley can be stumped by Stonebridge Park only if you play the anti clockwise circle via Great Portland Street.
However my over night move is Croxley because East Putney remains shuttered.

Not until it is open. Seem to recall reading somewhere of somebody trying a similar move 24 hours before opening of the original Heathrow extension and receiving very short shrift from the referee.

Edit to say that RC was being very generous in the light of previous precedent. My opinion is that the T5 move is invalid. Time to call the referee?

Indeed I was being generous, which is why I said I'd only accept it if the equally outrageous (triple Hodgkiss manouevre) New Cross Gate move was allowed.

Think that was the short shrift...

Right, brisk Monday morning replay from Latimer Road to Paddington. (Note prune [sic] type move ... should get everything moving along nicely.)

Heres an interesting 'quarkle' for you all...

wimbledon

And on a more sorrowful note..I am saddened to announce the passing away of Brigadier Charles-Bratwurst-Fotheringhey.A true stalwart of this noble game and author of several thousand pages of MC notation.Acheived fame in the circle for his bravery during the Boer war when he deemed it unacceptable for his presence there due to MC constraints and obligations. He stayed put in the UK and continued to win his bout of MC a few days later.

Got you Solid Rust Twotter.

Prior to the hostilities of the1940's. The location of all five copies of Dr Gardens A tube to all destinations were known. Unfortunately, volume no 3 was lost during this time, from its closely guarded location.
Mornington Crescent Has always been a tortuous psychological challenge. Which is why the most secret tactics, were documented in just five identical volumes.

Mr Twotter played a
Brandenburg-Coles Equivalent
I know of this manouvre having read chapter three. Perhaps then, someone will get a visit, from one of the elite units?
I shall play a Westbound Ealing Broadway.

Your Lordship, a good reply but taken out of context as you have done here, somewhat lacking in purpose. The Drahdiwerbl Obtusity is no challenge to the game at this point.

Play continues with
