Hahahaha, well done Mr Twotter! Nice use of the Opposing Straddle there to defeat my cunning plan involving Trolleybus (Weekdays only) Amendments.

Back to the drawing board with

New Cross Gate

I think not, Mr. Twotter. You are forgetting the precedent set by the monumetal "Sportsmen of the World" ruling in 1986 where a similar ill-fated play was made. I therefore humbly suggest that, as we have a cricket playing gentlemen by the name of Phil Tufnell, Tufnell Park will un-snooker your snooker.

Let that be a warning to any one of you who think that quoting sprts willy-nilly will get you out of any situation you find yourself in.

Mind the Gap!

Dang this boy\'s quick.

Heads or tails, Mr R C. Call it right and New Cross Gate it will be. Else we\'re off to Tuffers Park.

New Cross Gate it is (was) then - dang it all! Narrow escape for Mr Twotter. Tis a game of skill, this.

So I shall play through to Hackney Wick

How amusing!

For tactical reasons which I will not divulge...

Notting Hill

It will take a vvvery expeirienced MC to see the hidden agenda here...1976+Fortescue is the only clue I'll give..(feeling charitable)

ex_matelot, if we went off to Brondesbury , would that be a "gotcha"? You wanted me to take you to Willesden Green as per the mistake by Mr Henry F'castle-Smythe in the 1976 Grand Championship of All Of the South of England when he mistakenly applied the F.C. (Fortescue Covenant for the less savvy) forgetting that it was a New Moon!

So, Brondesbury then. A smart chappie or lassie would get you to MC in half a dozen moves from there.

Ah, the infamous Thursday morning Bank Raid move. Very nice.

I think, though, Seven Sisters will get us moving in the right (or is that wrong) direction....

Tut Tut Tut, I really thought I was thwarted with my cunning plans but a few of you appear to have seriously underestimated the motives behind my previous move..

A rather unorthodox reverse Kylie shunt-from straddle was utilised by the great Humphrey Fortescue-Fortescue-Brain in the infamous Riding MC civil war of '76.The fallout from this great victory is still visible today-most notably in the splitting of the area into east and West as the then warring sides can still not come to terms with the sheer audacity of that fateful move.

I so propose to invoke this very same strategem as a lesson of the enlightenment that can only be gained from years and years of perusing MC theorem. Thus Ladies and Gents...May I present..

Mornington crescent

Nb..This could have serious repurcussions on the Dow Jones and FTSE index tomorrow..Apologies for all those with shares etc.

Well done ex_matelot - what can I say?

So, to start a new game, how about

Turnham Green

Cheers

Ex Matelot

The syntax in the codicil to the Wainwright-Smethwick Agreement of 1972 is ambiguous regarding your move. Perhaps, in the interests of fairness, you'd like to reconsider?

One would feel uncomfortable drawing up the heavy artillery in response to so trivial a point.

SRT...see page 1476 of Monsoon's MC notation and hypothesis.I think article 17b(iii) will explain all.

The move stands and cannot be revoke under the '76 Bombay amendment.

Superceded by the Krakow Multi-Node Phased Shuffle Imperative of 2002 if you took the time to update your Rules Compendium. One is only now catching up to mid July 2004.

This leaves Stepney as the logical alternative.

Oh dear SRT, you must be having a bad morning as you just played the 'fools shunt', allowing me to move straight to Mornington Crescent.

Another game, with an opener of Green Park.

Well whether it is Turnham Green or Green Park to start off matters not - it's only semantics as they both contain the word "Green". That being true I'm obliged to follow the Blue (so the Piccadilly) so I think I'll choose Boston Manor under the Hometown Adjunct of April 7th 1949.

I'm so glad it was resurrected. I was beginning to think I was the only one playing...

You are!

Strange move mind, so will put you out of your lonely misery and propel the game into the weekend with Park Royal.
