Romeo Charlie - that was a goal hanging offence ... plus the game has been in progress for less than 20hrs. Shameful and illegeal. Move void.

bladewashout - good call.

So moving from Euston Square, I invoke Nautical dusk ruilings, and move Stratford.

Goal Hanging????

I warned you all when I played Acton Mainline that it would separate the men from the boys. If you all were either too scared or too incompetant to heed the warning and watch the state of play don't come crying to me. I set that move up perfectly legally and you all fell into the trap.

Invoking the hizb-ul-mc covention ratified by various reknowned MC governing bodies which I dont need to go into right now,Im going to play a classic blinder as far as post WW2 play is concerned..

Finsbury park

This move cannot be opposed as that constitutes islamophobia.

Which, in turn, allows me to play by the Hindu rules - avoiding Elephant and Castle (no, no, no, couldn't POSSIBLY go there) and because tomorrow is the 1st of the month, my last of the month play puts me at:

wait for it:

Kensal Rise

Beat that! haha!

Seeing as setting a trap for the less experienced players seems to be frowned upon, I must graciously accept defeat over the issue (I still maintain that my finishing move was legal! )

However, in the interests of harmony, and not wishing to discourage new players I shall move the play to.....

Kentish Town

Ooooh, very cunning!

A fantastic move there which, if I'm not mistaken, employs The Fortescue Covenant - a rare, but delightfull gambit sadly out of fashion these days.

I daren't play my prefered location for fear of further abuse, so I'll pass on this occasion.

All I can say is that the next player should be very careful.........

Have to agree with RC, an absolutely classic move that seems so obvious but yet requires great subtlety to counter without a deadend shunt. So, instead of falling for the oh so obvious Oxford Circus, will play Victoria. Notice how to make this move I have to sacrifice the apparent opportunity that a beginner might think to move to Mornington Cresent in two moves and instead use The Fortescue Covenant Response move. Tricky, and like RC comments on the last move, we are still in a situation where the next player will need care to avoid the dreaded deadend. Interesting stuff folks.

So, my move is Victoria, over to you!

Oh please do. It's a pleasure to play such a knowledgable opponent. Why not use the Kowloon High-Noon move?

Oooh, cancel that last - I have to play through and see the Fortescue Covenenat through to its happy end, which will, fortunately for me and perhaps for you, put us all on the train at Alperton

So Alperton it is. Over to you, I\'m off for tea and biccies.

Please accept my apologies as I am but a rank beginner at tis game. Isn't there a codicil to the Fortescue Covenant which means that, I believe, the only move now would be East Ham?

Cheers

That is about the long and short of it, and a well played move I must say.

Tooting Broadway should keep things moving nicely along.

One goes away for a few days, and look what happens. A full game finished in that time. The shame of it.

Which allows the invocation of the It Wouldn't Have Been Allowe in My Day' gambit and, since one has to start somewhere,

A busy day I see - this post to keep the game alive and on page 1 of JB. As such, I play the forthcoming Saints Day Adjunct combined with a beginning of the month slide, moving me to:

Arsenal
