A little known play found in the commentary of the legendary clash between Ringbolt and Frejdenhahn at the Bern Convocation, is the Nordhamer Linear Accelerant. Judicious nursing of the Lv in the lower ranges and application of a smart tap with a feather duster will place us in

Such aggressive play, Rusty! A Nordhamer? This early in the game? There are several appropriate responses to this very challenging move but I am going to choose ...

Theydon Bois

... which, incidentally, was opened on this very day in 1949 ... which allows me to collect "birthday" presents from all the players plus 100 bonus game points . Yayyyy!!!

Oh dear...oh feckin dear!!

Poultry influenced costumes are only permitted to be worn when the gentle sounds of a glockenspiel accompanies the current gamnit in play. One would have plumped for something a little more practical given the current situation. A Rhodesian variant of a quite passible "Elvis" no less!

Oh no, ********* ... don't do it!! He's just trying to lull you into a false sense of security.

Well, all may not be lost but it's going to take some doing to get around what I believe Rusty has in mind. Using a Bi-lateral DeGroot Double-Shift just might work but he could be expecting that so I'm going to use the single version and move to ...

Ravenscourt Park.

That might work ...

Aaaaarrrggghhh ... I just noticed your post, Flabber ... where are we now? I'm completely lost ...

Most convenient - I'll extend your strategy by a single move to my home in

Wanstead

(And before you all think my level of play has descended to a farcically simple level, I would refer you to page 647 of the Original First Rule Handbook (1916 edition - the one with all pages numbered 13 missing).

This little beauty is inspired than,no less, than the great Sir Percival Thrush-Whiting. An esteemed player who bravely devised new MC gambits from the cover of a bomb proof shelter dont you know! Whilst the British army was running on it's chinstrap Sir Percival, had the perseverance,to compile a separate adjunct to the 1894 doctrine which supersedes the Wigan 39'ner's addendum to Cribbits.

On the bright side though..there's a very tasty "tasty pasty" stall there.

Dear Flabs - how kind of you but I feel I am no more than an enthusiastic amateur in such august company. In truth I have not won a game for many years but as my lovely sex-crazed nephew keeps telling me, "It's all in the chase..."

As it's a bright autumn morning here in London, let's head into town for a little stroll in the park

Logical move from here would be to Upminster, so I'll head straight to ...

Ahem - May I cut in?

You kicked this round off with a Double Hasselhoff, did you not? After an almost 5 month hiatus?

I'm still chortling to myself that you actually allowed such a move - everyone knows that a Double Hasselhoff may not be played - no matter what you do with your tyres - unless play has been suspended for 8 months.

So with a Dibley-quadruple back-shuffle, rescuing me old mucker SRT, I shall hit you with
