Why the headlights?
Mrs K & I have just returned from a fanatastic holiday in Tuscany. Hot, sunny, plenty to eat & drink. The occasional C130 & CASA twin overhead just provided the aviation interest as I floated in the pool.
But we noticed that this year, many cars on the autostrada & provincial roads had their lights switched on. I don't recall this from our previous visit in 2004, so what's with the headlamps?? |

alberto86 it might be worth to add that the new law is another step in the over-regulation of road circulation, more an effort to raise money giving more tickets or an excuse to pull you over (yes in Italy, being it a latin country, police plus the other 4-5 armed forces do make frquent roadblocks). Compulsory running daylights does not make circulation safer as international literature can prove.

Scusate la domanda stupida ma....nell strade degli altri stati non vige la stessa cosa?
|
Hey stay, you know, strict adherence to forum topic is not compulsory yet ... unlike running daylights.
|
scusa ma se siamo nel forum italiano perchč parli in inglese? io non lo parlo bene come te l'inglese. parla italiano please.
|
stay, as a courtesy to our Koliber guest, I'm using english like alberto86 did. It is evident that you're a bit challenged in this language as your mispelled location shows. I would suggest that you take care of that, as well of your moderator-wannabe attitude. Or you also have a simpler choice, stay ... off.

Kolibear,
heard that statistics dictate lower possibility in road accidents if cars maintain lights on daylight also. Personally no way to confirm or not. el @, rules are rules... as you know ! If you do not agree with, feel free to be elected into te parliament and try to modify the law. Ciao |
Headlights during the day is now a world standard. Thanks to Brussels for another bright idea???

My thought is this, if having the stupid headlights turned on helps to save even one single life, then it's a good thing. If not, it really doesn't bother me that much anyway... Now, back to aviation... anyone cares for some pictures from Oshkosh? :ok: http://public.fotki.com/lucaberta/eaa_2006_oshkosh/ Enjoy! Ciao, Luca |
considerando il completo off topic mi sembra che possiamo chiudere qui.
