Ciao White Kite,

Ciao grazie mille stepilot

Grazie a tutti, sopratutti a lolair. Il thread ha iniziato qualcun' altro. Io ho fatto la domanda sull' altro thread. Allora, siamo benvenuti, o no?

I think that it is not fair to employ foreign pilots when there are Italian pilots without jobs. But it is the Italian airlines that employ foreigners, so it is unemployed Italian pilots who should press Italian bosses to give them jobs.
Correct me if I am wrong.

ZAGY, which planet are U from? Have U not heard of the European Union, equal rights etc? U sound really nationalistic, judging by your D.O.B. U could be from the Mussolini era.......
Best U go where U came from and sell this crap there. Correct me if U think I am wrong.

GEENY2 15th Mar 2006 05:32

The Mussolini era could be back, there is a Mussolini in the Parliament. Old habits die hard.

I wouldn't worry if I were you. You should try to find something better to occupy your time.

ZAGY 28th Mar 2006 11:03

So, what about my plan?

brucelee 29th Mar 2006 21:56

Zagy.
These days companies are looking to cut cost. If they can hire a pilot who is already trained on type, they will hire him and who cares where he comes from. This does not only happen in the Bel Paese ma da per tutto. Mi dispiace portarti dentro la realta'.

ZAGY 31st Mar 2006 09:22

Thank you brucelee for bringing me into reality:confused:, ck my birth date. So, those not too pleased by foreigners in the Italian aviation are barking up a wrong tree, no?

brucelee 31st Mar 2006 13:37

I suggest that those not too pleased with foreigners taking italian jobs get the training required to be hired. Italy is a free country. Companies can hire who they want. Nothing is stopping you from working outside of Italy either. The only thing that is stopping you is your qualifications which is up to you to improve. There was a time when you could get a job with just a private pilot licence [AZ back in the '80's]. Those days are gone. Unfortunately this idea of buying a type rating was started years ago and now seems to be the standard. It has nothing to do with where you come from but rather what qualifications you have. I guess also being part of a big family like Europe has it's advantages and disadvantages.

flyblue 31st Mar 2006 15:39

...and, besides, there are loads of Italian pilots abroad ;)
