Jobs in France
Does anyone out there have any info on flightdeck jobs in France, turboprop or jet?
Thanks in advance. |
Hi
Jobswise, France isn't the ideal place these days, mainly since Air Lib went bust - the FO market is flooded with guys with 1,000s of flt. hrs. on MD-83s, DC-10s, A340s and the like... If your licence is not French CAA-issued, it will have to be "validated" (i.e., accepted) by the DGAC's licensing dept. before you can actually take on the job (the airlines don't care wether your licence is French or JAA) - a lengthy, albeit free process... I should know! Since you are A320-rated, the airlines using A320-series are: Air France (A319, A320, A321, soon A318) Aigle Azur (A321) Star Airlines (A320) Air Méditerranée (A321) Compagnie Corse Méditerranée (A319) Air Calédonie International (A320 in 2004) Cheers P.S.: you need to speak French fluently - the whole selection process will be in French, as is the cockpit work and ATC with F-reg aircraft. |

Star Airlines is currently recruiting F/Os and Captains for their A320s. P J Source (+more info): http://www.ppjn.com/jstar.html |
Try for CityJet's CDG base... www.cityjet.com... HQ are in DUB but most of the crew are CDG based
