It's All So Confusing!

Hello all u aviation nuts! This is my first post and am sorry to be a pest so soon.
I am looking for a school to start from 0 - ATPL and I understand now that everyone has mixed feelings about this topic so I will phrase my "ask" in another way.
' If I take a modular route at an approved school, work hard, impress the FTO, persevere with applications... will I stand as good a chance of gaining a job as if I went to Oxford or one of the big boys on an integrated and followed the same steps?

Also should I aim for getting a job with an airline when I have low hours or should I build then start applying?

One more: I have 13 good GCSE's and A'levels but not in science. I chose to work instead of uni and am now 23 does anyone know if I am still eligible for sponsorship? If so what are my chances?

Really sorry to annoy anybody but am finding it really hard to make the decisions as I am going to immerse myself in a big ditch of debt and am s****** myself.

Any response will be truley welcome. Thanks. Andy.:\

To save you verbal crucifiction from other users I feel I ought to quickly explain that most of what you are asking has been done to death in other threads (and mostly recent from what I have seen).

You might want to look/search for threads along the following lines:

"Integrated vs. modular"
"Do airlines care what school you go to?"
"Anyone found employment recently?"
"Degree or not Degree?"

To be honest your chances of standing out at the initial application form stage of sponsorship with no flying experience (well, not that you mentioned) and no degree are pretty slim.

Some people might say that you will find it difficult to do well at the ATPL theory without any form of A Level/further science experience. But don't let that worry you, it's debatable and nothing that can't be overcome with a bit of work.
