EASA Majors WB FO

Hi all,

I'd like to know which EASA companies (majors: LH, KLM, AF, etc) are hiring for WB FO, if any, with the following:

2000+hrs, 1000+hrs jet (30+ tons, but not boeing/airbus family), commercial (passenger) operations in Canada/US major cities
EASA ATPL
EU/Canadian Passport

Perfect english, very limited french.

Open to apply for british visa if it's straightforward to get with my experience and/or EU/Canadian passport if BA is an option.

Would a few hundred hrs (300-500) of PIC on jet matter if I decide to stay at my current company and bid for Capt upgrade thus delaying my application by aprox one year?

That should be enough to get you into any of those as an FO.

Including WB?

Maybe not, you'll probably need to wait for that at a flag-carrier/'legacy'. But there are LH-only operations that would take you. How do you feel about yellow?

You know the UK is no longer in EASA? It would be a different licencing procedure even though basically identical syllabus. WB legacy generally requires you to wait your time RHS SH, BA may be the exception as it's so LH oriented. Also bear in mind most flag carriers require fluency in the native language as well as English.

PLL LOT is hiring, but with theirs T&C I wouldn't csll them legacy.
But they do take on 787 directly.

As far as I know, (almost) no majors hire anyone for any flight crew role without knowing their national language. Especially out of those you mentioned.

I was thinking more of Yellow 777s.
