Aer Lingus Future Pilot Programme 2024

Hey guys!
Did anyone hear anything about the 2024 applications? Is there any chance they will open earlier than usual?
Cheers!

Haven’t heard anything yet as to when they’ll be opening applications, hopefully it’s earlier this year though!

Maybe a silly question, but I can’t find the info anywhere.

Can British people apply for this, it states right to live in EU unrestricted so I’m guessing no - anyone able to clarify?

I'm unsure on this too, as the initial application page states "Eligible to live and work permanently in the EU/Ireland."

From this link https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-ireland
"UK nationals do not need a visa or residency permit to live, work or study in Ireland. Within the Common Travel Area (CTA), British and Irish citizens can live and work freely in each other’s countries and travel freely between them. Both the UK and Irish governments are committed to protecting the CTA."

However, for the EU https://www.gov.uk/working-abroad
"You’ll need a work permit to work in most EU countries if you’re a UK citizen.
In most cases, you’ll need a job offer from your chosen country so that you can get a visa to move there."

Additional clarification welcome! :)

If all the various threads were merged then it might become a bit clearer......

You can apply. There was plenty of candidates from the UK last year. You just need the right to live and work in Ireland. That’s why it’s down as EU/Ireland in the FAQ section

Great opportunity!

Anyone looking for more information regarding the assessment, I can recommend to search for the group “Aer Lingus pilot assessment” on Telegram.
