Air Dolomiti
Good morning,
I have been called by Air dolomiti for the first step (DLR) in Milan by the end of January. Anyone else? For the people that already did, do you have any suggestion? Thanks |
I applied 2 weeks ago ("speculative application - pilots") but no replies...I just put my CV, nothing else they asked; is it normal ?
|
I applied in october when p̣sition were open

I'm a Low hour NTR pilot, Italian speaker and I applied in october
|
To everyone who is still waiting, let me clarify that first and foremost they call students from flight schools who have partnerships with them, trust me on that. A lot have been called for the DLR in November, the others from what I know have an end of January assessment, as OP mentioned. Don't get discouraged though, they certainly need quite a few pilots!
|
I'm not coming from any of their partner school, i think they have a huge amount of application also from Non-italian speakers ( yes you need to speak italian fluently), and this is kinf of random most probably
|
Yes, I believe they ask for Italian Level 6. Most guys/gals I know from AirDolomiti's partner schools that applied already got the call/assessment day scheduled. I hope you get it too but understand that it might take longer than for others! Best of luck!

Good evening,
I have also been called for the selection in mid January. Does anyone know if we have to do anything else in the selection apart from the DLR in the first phase? Thanks a lot |
just DLR
|
I was convinced that there would be ATPL questions as well but im not sure
|
ATPL questions is included in the DLR; but yes, first step is DLR. It includes tests like the ones they sent via software, also new multitasking tests, English and ATPL.
|
Ahhh makes more sense now, thank you.
Any tips on which platform to use to refresh my memory on atpl qs? |
I suggest Aviation Exam, they have around 1800 questions for free trial. Good refresher, also check Ace Technical Pilot book

BTW do you know which bases they offer? |
I believe, if things haven't changed, that the only possible base as of now is Verona. Having said that, most flights they operate are to/from Germany; so most likely you will depart from Verona and fly to Munich or Frankfurt and then commence your 2/3/4 days of work.

So, no chance for non native Italian speaker even if it's not mentioned on the job description?

Look I’m not entirely sure, but it’s worth contacting them to make sure. I think Italian is required though
|
Thanks guys for your input !
