Is there another thread dedicated to EW recruitment? Couldn't find any
|
No, there is none. But it appears to be that they are recruiting.
|
Okay then, thanks. Yes, it appears they are, last update was about a month ago that they are finished with type-rated pilots and will also continue with NTR.
|
Just got an email that now my application is active and they will contact later because there is a lot of people to invite.
|
Same here, just got the email a few days ago. Anyway what are you expecting on the Assesement? Any tips from anyone?
|
Same here, i got this: "We have reviewed and accepted your application and just started with inviting non rated candidates. However, due to the high number of applications it will take some time now until we can invite you to the first step of the selection process. Therefore we kindly ask you for patience. Once we are able to invite you, we will contact you via email."
Any good tips on how to prepare besides skytest? |

I was advised to prepare with the Skytest tools, my friend did his assessment start of may and he said it was quite similar. A warm hug, Luxpilot |
Did you friend mention anything about the ATPL test? I believe it is part of the assessment.

Basic qualifications
Hi guys, how are you. I have the Basic qualifications coming up next month. Any info related the exercises?
Is the visual memory test part of BQ? As I really need some improving on that part. Also are the ATPL questions difficult or mostly basic aviation knowledge? Thanks for sharing guys! |

Yes, he said they were really random. |
I did the assessment 2 weeks ago approx. About 60% passed on my day.
ATPL knowledge was very random, some more difficult questions but no calculations necessary. I was unsure of about 20 out of 60 questions, I did not get a low score on these. For preparation with Skytest i'd say it's very hard to prepare for many of the parts, the best I'd recommend is:

What is next for you if you pass? Simulator in Vienna? |

Yes, the simulator is next, have not received any information about location. I am NTR, no prior operational airline experience. |

I passed, you get to know your results right after everyone is done.

Can you please tell us how much time did you wait between getting the email announcing that your application has been reviewed/accepted and the invitation for the assessment? Also, does the process includes a technical interview or just the ATPL multi choice questions you already had? many thanks |

Congrat for passing the first steps!

Also, does the process includes a technical interview or just the ATPL multi choice questions you already had? many thanks I think I was lucky applying at a perfect time since they are lacking crew for Stockholm base and possibly preffering scandinavian speaking crew. The ATPL was the only thing, possibly they might ask techical questions in the last stage (interview) but since I am NTR I hope not to receive Airbus tech-questions haha And thank you very much! |
Thanks a lot for the details.
For technical interview, if there is, it will definetely not be about A320 but technical ATPL question. General question where you have to explain things like what Ryanair and Wizz do. Best of luck for the next steps! |

Hello pilotlux!
Congrats for passing the first step and break a leg for the second one! ;) Are there other topics that I should study on Skytest? I mean further exercises I should practice in addition to those you mentioned. Thanks in advance. Your info is really important to me. A warm hug |
