easyJet June 2019 Amy Johnson

Dear all,

just passed the online assessment! Let's use this thread in case of someone being called for further steps.

Good luck to all! :ok:

mmA3 9th May 2019 14:38

Very good to hear. :ok:
How is the online assessment like? "Standard" test like ATPL, multi-tasking, etc?
I`ll probably attend the online-assessment the next days :)

mmA3 9th May 2019 14:44

Congrats, hope to join you on one of the assessment-days :ok:
Good luck to all!

Did you get the automatic email saying:
"you have successfully completed the online assessment" or something different?

Pertoni 9th May 2019 17:57

Just automatic reply! But reading the forum, I guess it means you "passed" the online tests. That's what I understood, but I'm probably wrong :ugh:

justonewing 9th May 2019 18:58

I also took the online assessment but I had a computer problem. During the tubeflight test my computer has almost froozen and slowed down so much that I had to restart it.

Anyone else had this problem ?

I had to take the tests from scratch again. So I had a free tests for the same price... :-)

Just waiting for the answer now. I received an email but nothing stating clearly whether I passed or not...

justonewing 9th May 2019 22:39

...by the way, did you prepare specifically for the cute tests ? I hesitated but finally I used the new version of pilotest.com which is dedicated to the cute tests. it is ultra realistic and free to use and I recommend but I was wondering whether anyone who used pilotest had already got its result for ezy ?
more specifically does anyone has a detailed results ? I mean tests by tests ?

for example on

pilotest.com/fr/tests/tubeflight

I was pretty good and almost all the time above average. But I would be curious to know if it matches with my real test results.

Pertoni 10th May 2019 09:16

Unfortunately I couldn't find something ''official to train on''
But the is divided in the famous flying tube, NDB/ADF with compass orientation, quick math equation (not so easy, with multiple variables of first grade). The one with the runway strip is not easy to explain but during the test you can try the ''demo'' many times, it should be okay.

Banana Joe 10th May 2019 19:41

The one with the runway strip is also quite easy. You have a flying aircraft and you have to move the runway strip with your mouse. At the same time, you have some addition/subtraction operation with a result to which you answer true or false. You have a line of letters to which you have to answer true or false if one letter is repeated.

Hello

Hi everyone!
I am successful in the online assessment however I've been heard that this program is issued only for famle so I am wondering if it's right or not?
Anybody knows anything about it?
Kinds

Pertoni 11th May 2019 11:42

pilotsaab if you want, can you share your email for success? Was it like this: "we are pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed the online assessment which is the first stage of the recruitment process. Your application and Cv"

Ecc ecc

anyway from the requirement I heard it I'd for everyone!

paul_v1 11th May 2019 12:57

Pertoni thats awesome! Good luck to you! Is this vacancy open for all or just female pilots? Somewhere I read thats its more female oriented. Thanks!

Banana Joe 11th May 2019 13:34

That is the standard automatically generated email if you have done better than a specific threshold with the cut-E tests. Then they will go through your file and decide whether to invite you or not. Last year, I heard from somebody, there were only 20 positions.

I think they can't openly say it.

justonewing 11th May 2019 22:50

@pilotsaad very interested also in the email received. mine is very unclear...

Amy opportunity is not officially women only. but everyone knows about easy jet parity goal...If I happen to get a positive result after the online tests, I will ask my doctor about transgender surgery... :-) :-)

justonewing 11th May 2019 22:55

just a question about the tube test. did you hurt some of the obstacles during the test ? or did you manage to fly the tube without even a collision?

I crashed twice but I don't know how it taken into account...

Banana Joe do you know if somebody has received a different email?
I mean if somebody failed the online test, did he/she got something different?

justonewing 11th May 2019 23:16

my email says in a word "thank you for participation and interest etc etc..you'll be contacted later." but nothing to say whether I am successful regarding the tests or if my test results are still being processed... and I am waiting...

Ces96 12th May 2019 08:50

Hi guys, I was just wondering, when did you apply for this ? When I go on their website on the Amy Johnson initiative page, it says "no jobs match your search criteria".

I crashed three or four times. Don't stress it out. I wonder what is the utility of this test.

We are pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed the online assessment which is the first stage of the recruitment process. Your application and CV will now be screened for evidence of the competences that are critical to success in a pilot role.

You do not need to contact easyJet at this time, as we will contact you by email as soon as we have further information for you. Please do not worry if this does not happen straight away.
That is what I've got

I crashed more than twice even though I have been successful.. they usually look for the total result not only for once.

justonewing 12th May 2019 17:53

justonewing was your email like I posted or completely different?
Unfortunately I can't remember. It is on my ipad at work so I will check on Tuesday. But I am sure it was different. More like an acknowledgement than a result message.

justonewing 12th May 2019 17:55

Considering the crashes I was I think too much confident. Perhaps I trained too much or was over prepared. difficult to say. but I really wonder how our results are worked out... and overall how they can say someone is fitted for a pilot job or not with such tests...:ugh:

anto125 13th May 2019 05:45

Just got the mail,"We are pleased to inform you that you have successfully completed the online assessment which is the first stage of the recruitment process. Your application and CV will now be screened for evidence of the competences that are critical to success in a pilot role."

this doesn't mean at all I'll be contacted, appareantly they're going to check a bit in detail your CV
let's cross our fingers.

p.s.
I did a mess too at the tube, I think i crashed 4 or 5 times, i've found a trainer with a much different sentibility.

hiandrew 13th May 2019 09:35

Hi,
how did you apply to? the section careers in their website is empty
How is the online assesstment?

Pertoni 13th May 2019 11:50

I applied via latestpilotjob, try there!

hiandrew 13th May 2019 12:28

Found it, Thanks

paul_v1 13th May 2019 12:28

Pertoni Is there a way to prepare for this online test properly?

hiandrew 13th May 2019 12:30

Do you have to pay for the test?

Pertoni 13th May 2019 12:34

Test is free, I prepared based on the forum... I have no idea if is possible to be trained. If you read the forum you won't be surprised

justonewing 13th May 2019 12:35

I encourage you to visit pilotest.com / lonely tests section wich is free and which is exactely the tests you will have on the exam. best training ever

justonewing 13th May 2019 12:36

I also applied via latest pilot jobs by the way...

paul_v1 13th May 2019 12:42

After some reading seems like even if you pass the online assessment doesnt mean much. They review your cv after and thats where most fail. FTO plays a role and the gender.

I was wondering in that, if you search on Google the Amy Johnson is a female initiative
