For Guys: Don't bother applying. The scheme is for females only. Only apply if you are contemplating a sex change.

For Girls: Only apply if you are willing to be ripped off by paying (from your own pocket) £100,000+ for training you can easily do for a fifth of the price. Also, easyJet do not sponsor anyone even though it says they sponsor certain applicants!

Ahahahahha
If they opened to everyone for sure they won't take only girls. Maybe more than boys, I agree. I believe someone of us can do it! :ok:

It's okay to have false hope. Obviously they are not legally allowed to advertise it for females only but that's what their aim is behind the scenes.

Maybe you should spend some of that £120,000 on getting some female sex organs.

A320ECAM As the candidate has to fund nothing else than the MCC, could you please explain if the cost for an MCC is 120000 pounds?
Cheers!

It is sad to see that gender made its way into aviation. Some Jobs appeal more to the gender group than others. When I started training I had my passion fuel me not what I have in my pants. I think we should choose the qualified pilots versus nonsense politics.
A woman can become a pilot as much as a man. In both cases it takes willpower.

No need to show you the link (if you know what you are talking about, you should know where to find the information)
Before posting rubbish, you should check what you are going to write.

The one we are talking about here is for modular and integrated guys that have their license already and are also already working, with maximum 1000 hours of experience in commercial ops.

I think you misunderstood the main topic of this thread. It's not a MPL/cadet program.

As for the female thing, I tend to agree.

Latest word is that they have received thousands of applications and there are 20 spots, also easyJet want to hire as many females as they possibly can. The scheme is called 'Amy Johnson' for a reason!

Type rating is £38,000 :yuk: and they don't sponsor anyone, no matter they find in your pants

Not surprised at all, and I am totally ok with hiring females, as long as they have the qualities required for the job. This 'positive discrimination' in the hands of HR dept can be counterproductive even for the successful female pilots that might have to overcome an additional stigma from some colleagues.

IFLYyouBREATH 13th May 2019 20:32

Only 20 fellows will be selected

appfo09 13th May 2019 21:01

being a male candidate you have better chances elsewhere :ok:

crimito 13th May 2019 21:04

Hi all!

Last year, males were selected too, so don’t panic! 😉
Then, the only cost involved is MCC/JOC (10k €), type rating is sponsored and bonding duration and amount are different depending on the contract they offer you (UK, Italian, French etc..).

Good luck!

paul_v1 13th May 2019 23:23

Just took the assessment and Im waiting for the results. Will let you know how it went~

10k for mcc/joc?
I hope you have business class meals included on the onboard service mate!
Anyway if they're looking for 20 people it's gonna be tuff..!

MCC/JOC is done on an A320 FFS and you'll be taught EZY SOPs from day 1. 10k are a lor of money, but I can assure you that having already a deep knowledge of the SOPs and 32 hours on an A320 sim helped me a lot for the type rating.

Anyway: good luck to all!

paul_v1 14th May 2019 11:18

I got a successful email saying I passed stage one and now my application is being reviewed. Dont know how long this process takes.

JamesBanda 16th May 2019 11:45

Pertoni 16th May 2019 12:00
