AviationCV

Hello everyone !

How legit is AviationCV.com ?
I have been offered a cadet training program through them. But, it looks a bit expensive, and they want a lot of money up front.

They are offering a CRJ TR with 500 hours for 38.900 euros. with pay under the line training 6 - 8 months and the a FO position after.

The catch here is that they want 750 euros for the assessment and 5000 euros in a deposit before the assessment as well.
So in case i fail the assessment, how sure i am of getting my 5000 euros back ? and 750 euros for an assessment ! come on .. just at new pilot trying to fly ! haha

Not interested in debating pay-to-fly / self funded TR schemes, but but even among pay to fly deals, this one is just shocking .. Too expensive, relatively useless TR in Europe, and very dodgy assessment fee/deposit. For that kind of money you can get 500hrs on a 737/320.

Please, stay away from this .. even if you're desperate, this is not the way.

May I ask why do you suggest to avoid aviationcv? I am just looking for information about them and other p2f schemes and any suggestion will be helpful.

The last offer I got from them was an A320 TR ~30k€, thereafter ~50% chance to get a job with SmartLynx. So worst case you get a TR without any hours on type - useless.

So, use this one really only as your LAST resort...even if everybody tells you to stay away from Ryan...they‘re still much better than this offer!

Guys, it’s 2019...if still anybody wants to go the P2F way he should return his medical because of his mental health...

Im pretty sure the partner company is Nordica.. Just skip the middle man and contact them directly, if you are desperate to pay too much for a rating and earn 1000 euros a month in this job market.. Their mail is on their website, [email protected]

Good luck

Your profile says Denmark? Which means you're an EU citizen? The opportunities for newly graduated EU pilots is outstanding, one of the best in the world. You just need to keep searching. Check on FlightDeckFriend for the latest low-hour pilot jobs. You can go work anywhere. Just off the top of my mind, TAP Portugal, Germanwings, ASL Airlines, DHL Germany. Check these out and apply to them.

Pay to fly programs will set you back in money and experience and they're generally looked down upon. I understand sometimes it seems they're the only option but you need to keep your mind open. Good luck!

Money is to be made on p2f, why would the company keep anyone permanently when they can keep earning money. You will be let go at the end of the scheme to make room for the next victim. Good luck finding a good job with 500 hours on something other than Boeing or Airbus. You have just as much chance for a good job without paying the money.
