Does anyone have any good feedback who has already attended, or used something along the lines of latestpilotjobs interview prep? There doesn't appear to be an Aer Lingus interview prep on latestpilotjobs database from what i can see.

Shamrocky, you obviously have the inside scoop here. Can new recruits expect to be on / able to bit for the LR flights to the East Coast straight away, or will be there be a waiting period?

All new pilots spend 6 months restricted to certain operations etc. Following this time there is week of probationary checks and after this all restrctions including flying Transatlantic are lifted.

As someone who was at the assessment only yesterday, Karl from Aer Lingus specifically mentioned about the 6 months restriction on european ops before any transatlantic. After 6 months, as he put it in his words, "the restriction is lifted and you are open to fly all our routes, including transatlantic" |

Any experienced guys with 5000 hours (over 2000 jet hours) plus waiting on an interview invite? (hopefully)

Forgive me for being a touch vague, but it was the tail end of January and the offer was made by telephone a couple of weeks later. Don’t worry, I haven’t had a super speedy offer from the group that went through this week!!
