Jet2 NTR FO recruitment
Hey Guys and Girls,
Just wondering if anyone has had their NTR FO application gone past the "under review" stage? My application has been in for a good couple of months now but keep getting the emails saying they will let me know in another 4 weeks time. Specifically asking about NTR FO rather than Captain or Pilot Apprentice roles. I also read on another thread that they have changed the provider for the online assessments, I have already done mine but does this mean I may need to do them again? Thanks! |
You will do the assessment online again. There are more tests.
Application a couple of months? Some have been waiting over a year! Be patient..... |
I am in the exact same boat! yet i know people who are already on the type rating, guess we will just have to wait... that or ring and email jet2 for answers

I applied in Feb 17, got an assessment day 2 weeks ago, did the sim the same day and received my rejection call today. Ignore the rumours about interviewers and sim assessors not helping. I couldn’t thank the staff any more, they were brilliant, just a pity my simulator performance wasn’t!! When I was waiting in the crew room, the pilots were offering help and tips and couldn’t help enough.
No complaints from Jayteeto, good luck everyone else, be patient!!! |
Whenever and no matter how many times I've applied to Jet2 for a Pilot Position I have received a rejection mail all the times. No further reason. I don't know whats wrong with this company. I find them to be very discriminating against foreign people. Anyway, it is how it is, their problem there are plenty of other brilliant companies to apply to.
Cheers and good luck to all of you! |
They are the emblem of Brexit in the industry. I got a PFO immediately.

Interestingly enough, there were seven of us there, 2 were English, the rest were Italian, Spanish and Portuguese
|
When was it, if I can ask? I am asking because I was advised against applying from a British friend because they wouldn't consider my application on the basis I am not British. And was he right!

As for the Dutch and Danish market, they are rather small and enough pilots from their country.
In UK they can never fill those seats with just nationals. Plus of course in my opinion strange, but anyway. In many airlines in your mentioned countries is it mandatory to speak the local language. Although English is the international Aviation Language in Europe. For instance a Ryan Air will never be able to fill cockpit with ONLY British or Irish Pilots. |
This is quite it. Air France's recruitment campaign require you to be fluent in French and Vueling require level 4 Spanish language proficiency.

Hola,
Anyone got an idea of the current wait in the hold pool for non TR FO? Cheers, Bazza |
Hello everyone,
Does anyone know when you could apply for jet2 again if unsuccessful the first time for the same NTR FO position. I suppose reapplying with different email/account is big no no. Thanks in advance |
All times are GMT. The time now is 05:00. |
