Small planet cadet program(BAA)

Hello,

I have heard about this program and i want to know if there’s anyone who went to Lithuania for the assessment to tell us more about this program. When is the start date and the program fees, also when is the airline interview if there’s any?

dirk85 31st Oct 2017 00:29

Do you have the right to work in the EU? If not I doubt you qualify for this program, even if not clearly stated on the website.

mohammdashraf 31st Oct 2017 12:44

I asked them about this point and the they told me i am qualified to the program if i got selected even though i don’t have EU work permit

redsnail 31st Oct 2017 12:50

Perhaps this is for the Cambodia contract?

mohammdashraf 31st Oct 2017 13:34

I don’t really care where i will work i just want a program that will guarantee the first job to me.

It is at least unusual to spend two years training a cadet just for the purpose of employing him on a specific contract.

I would investigate further, there is definitely something fishy, but hey, what do I know after all.

Smartlynx also do not require EU citizenship or the right to remain without sponsorship. So not too strange if the others aren't either.

And they wouldn't have a clue where you'll be when you finish so doubt any contract in any country will influence any decision.

Maybe they can obtain a work permit in Vilnius. I don’t really know but of course they won’t lie because there is no reason for that!

Lol.

My passion to fly makes me wanna do anything just to be in the sky.

Try to have my poor african nationality and let’s see how you will deal with it. My dream is to work as an airline pilot in my country but there’s no chance for that. So what i have to do? give up on my dream?

I tried to forget it but i really can’t. securing a job with my nationality is very hard. For that reason i won’t care about the first place for the job. After that, i will might have the chance to choose where to go.

Disgusting attitude to have.

Why are people so willing to work in such dire conditions (such as Ryanair and Small Planet) that they will literally do absolutely anything to secure a flying job?

Back in my day, it was about having the passion to fly and the amazing work and life styles.

Get off that high horse. Anyone willing to start today would have to be very, very brave to embark upon the training route without a job attached. Disgusting? Please. But then again, we can only wish to have the passion to fly that you glittering aviators did

I have to disagree that it’s a terrible attitutude to have. As mohammdashraf has said, the reason people will take anything is because they desperately want to fly and it clearly is their passion if they are willing to take anything.

It’s a highly competitive career to get into and that’s why people take what they can get.

Hi everyone, just for information the price is 85 000 euro for ATPL + TRA320. The interviews are the 18th of December.

mohammdashraf 17th Nov 2017 20:03

I know the prices. but does anyone knew if he is invited for the interview or not?

mohammdashraf 30th Nov 2017 10:37

Any news yet? does anyone got an invitation for the airline interview on the 18th of December ?

Crowne 30th Nov 2017 11:42

Hello,

not yet still waiting for their reply

flyJoon 30th Nov 2017 13:14

They should send them by this week or during the next one. Be ready! (or not)

mohammdashraf 8th Dec 2017 10:28

how they are not telling people who is invited for the interview and there’s just less than 10 days!!

Reveal1 8th Dec 2017 11:51

Why you don't go and ask in FlyEgypt as I heard they taking ppl with no hours?

mohammdashraf 8th Dec 2017 19:40

They didn’t mention that anywhere. They just want captains not even first officers

Reveal1 8th Dec 2017 20:19

Somethimes dear Mohammadashraf,
the job which we want we have to go and grab it!
not easy peasy !
..but for you better to pay thousand of bucks...understand this is Aviation nowadays.
So in your opinion FLyEgypt is growing, recruiting Captains and no FO...so how that is possible because I want to understand your logic=?
the Company have now 6 aircraft and they just took 18 new pilot with 0 hours...
Regards
