West Atlantic cadet scheme
 

According to the West Atlantic recruitment page on their website, the cadet scheme has been 'temporarily suspended'.

Does this mean they are simply not recruiting cadets at the moment or is this likely the end of the whole programme? Would be a great shame in the event of the latter. :uhoh:

Can anybody, perhaps from inside the airline, shed some light on this one please?

Who knows if it'll return, it's a bit like FPP, dormant, doesn't seem to be returning anytime soon. I'd be very interested, but I'm lead to believe from someone closer to WA that last year there was some disappointment as not everyone who was accepted was actually enrolled, methinks there has been a change of strategy within the airline. The mood is changing industry-wide as it always does.
