Ground based pilot jobs?

Please do you know if there are any ground based pilots jobs? e.g. is it possible to just work in simulators as an instructor?

Yes, but the pay and Ts&Cs are not so good. Try the big simulation companies.

-Simulator Instructor
-Ground school Instructor
-Drone driver (UAV's)

Generally you'll be required to hold the type rating for the aircraft you'll be teaching prior to being hired.
Actual flight experience on that type will obviously help.
You don't want to be the guy teaching the plane that has never flown it.

In addition to what has been written before, it is not uncommon for pilots who lost their medical to change over to Dispatch. And those usually are not the worst in their new job. B737s warning about terms and conditions obviously applies here as well.
