DHL UK cadet assessment LEJ base
 

Hello boys and girls. Anyone attended DHL UK cadet assessment recently for LEJ base?
I wonder what to expect in an assessment? I know there is group exercise, math test etc... Any more detailed information would be much appreciated.

I've been invited to an assessement as well. I just don't understand why so many people complain about being based in Leipzig ? What's so bad about it ? Just live near the airport, problem solved ! It may not be the greatest city in europe, but a job is a job !

I live in Germany so for me no problem to move to LEJ.

Assessment on 16h but will go there the 15th as well.

I have an assessment 16th of March. i heard that is one of the toughest assessments out there. last time around only 4/36 passed to next stage.

then it comes Leipcig is one lovely city. Is not your major European capital but by far but one of better medium cities to live in Europe. In germany they call it "new berlin"

By 'cadet' scheme do they mean for those without flying experience or fATPL but just low hours?

ATPL but no minimum hours requirement...

Holiday Inn is also easy. 50Pence one way with the bus.

are you guys having assessment in Germany? I have in EMA...

In EMA. I will go there the 15th, because connection is not very good to EMA by plane from Stuttgart. I think I will take Holiday Inn. Was suggested by a friend because Bus Connection.

save, no not really, the reason i started this thread to get info about what to expect..
the only airline which i can't find much info about assessment...

But if you get in I think that you have a very good Employer and very good career chances.

I really hope I pass assessment, because I would really like to work as a pilot for DHL.
