Dreaded interview question, "How much are you worth"

I have been called for interview next week with a small company for the position of Turbo Prop captain.
The only question I am dreading is the how much are you worth 1 and how to answer it.
I have tried doing a search online but cannot find anywhere either how much the company currently pays Captains or what the equivalent is paying around the UK.
The aircraft in question is a Cessna 406.
Any feedback/advice welcome.

Easy answer... You can't put a price on a safe operation!!

Easier yet: "I'm twice divorced".

Easy , your worth is equally proportional to the value the owner / operator places on the lives of the people carried and upon the reputation of the operation. Having respect and valuing pilots are crucial to a safe and successful airline whether it's a B777 or a twin turboprop.

When I worked for Highland Airways, the base salary for a F406 captain was about £39,000 I think, plus a few allowances

Have a look on PPJN, not many 406's around these days but looking at all the other light turboprops, King Airs and J31/32's and bandits etc ... total package should be around the low to mid £40,000 kind of area.

Is the job with the Scottish Fisheries patrol by any chance?
