Baltic 737 Type for 9900 euros

Hi there,

Have anyone seen the 737 type rating ad offered by Baltic?

I don´t know if is in either the classic or -800, nevertheless it looks like the are in trouble.

What do you reckon??

P40Warhawk 9th May 2014 20:39

It is on the Classic, but for 1000 euro extra you do transition course. So 10900 you have B737CL+NG TR. Without BT. For around 18K you have TR+BT CL+NG.

...and then you ar on the ground again...but with the type rating to maintain current

They may also offer you line training if you impress during the course, think its for about £10k but I haven't done it myself so you will need to ask them to confirm.

@elmore81
This is not sure...they said that you can be the first, but it depends on other things...

Yes Bloggs, you are truely the best pilot i have seen in a long time. Now if you give me some more money, i will let you operate my profitable aircraft. I can't afford to pay you of course!:ugh:

Air Baltic - Low Quality

The type rating in Air Baltic is very cheap compared to the market, but also the quality of the training is very low. You are left alone to study the theory, and then the sim rides are done by Russian captains. The training dep. is built to take money not to give quality training.

You have to IMPRESS in order to GIVE THEM 10K?

HOLY SMOKE! What if you don' t? Your name will be mudded for not having achieved it?

What do you expect for 10K and 9 sim sessions only???

Better to go to Ryanair or Flugschule Berlin for better quality.
They give you 12 to 18 sim sessions for 25 K only!

It's not about the good or bad school. It's only about good student or bad student. Do you expect any school will give you any knowledge without your effort? Baltic is not bad school. There is excelent rate quality/price. And it only your choice if you will spend evenings in your hotel room with books or with others wannabes in a pub. If the instructors can speak russians does not mean they are russians. They are locals and all of them can speak english and russian. I did TR in this school. And I have job. Passed assesment without any problem with rating from this school. And I didn't get may job through P2F.

You may be laughing, but the queue is pretty long for this one, so yes :)

Baltic 737

I just asked them the price of line training and they quoted me 40,000 euro!

eaglescout 21st May 2015 18:09

I inquired the other day about a TR in B737 , 18500€ was the price and they offered me line training also at 40000€ total 58000€ not sure where 16000€ is coming from?

WeMadeYou 22nd May 2015 17:04

Who would employ someone paying 56000 euro for flying a bit of 737?
Then you are obviosly psycho and we all seen what psycho pilots are capable off..

RedBullGaveMeWings 23rd May 2015 15:17

Speechless, just speechless...

cgwhitemonk11 23rd May 2015 20:05

Speechless you may be but he is actually right! Nobody in their right mind should be paying north of 50,000 euro for any flying opportunities yet the que is round the block!

clamchowder 24th May 2015 15:25

Might be worth noting 50k Euro is about 35K GBP. Vast majority of jobs for cadets cost this nowadays (e.g. orange)... Unless you are "lucky" enough to get Ryanair and pay just under 30k :8

What happened in the GermanWings flight deck has nothing to do with P2F practices. Stop coming up with stupid and useless arguments.
And I am not an ambassador of P2F practices by any means, just in case...
