No response yet, hoping next week brings some good news.

Anyone else heard anything?

Was asked last summer to come from Europe to the Philippines for an interview.

3.000 TT and A320 Type Rated.

Passed the interview.
Very basic HR questions and some technical questions. Mainly limitations.

Then did the simulator test. 2 hrs of basically all failures and SE approaches available.
Passed that too and was told that they looked forward to seeing me again soon.
Time went by and they said things where changing.
After 4 month I was told that it wouldn't happen after all. The last thing I heard was that they were firing expats.

Good luck if they are hiring again...

Could you tell me what all htey asked in the interview so tat i could prepare...i am a A320 rated pilot

Be positive

I spent over a year with Cebu and talked to the HR dept several times concerning the hiring process. Don't expect a response to your emails until they are needing you. Just because you don't hear back from them, doesn't mean they don't have you on the hiring list.

During the Skype interview, be positive and willing to do what it takes to be a pilot for Cebu. Asking for free tickets, housing, days off, will just be viewed as negative. You need them a lot more than they need you.

For me, I would have enjoyed staying with them for the duration but as a seasoned pilot, I need time off to enjoy my family and to rest. With Cebu, they do not allow this as you are on call every day you're not flying. So, it's a good opportunity for you new guys with a fresh type and needing to build some hours. Just plan on working and being available for work, every day you are there.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info Jaz,

I've had the skype interview a while back now, and as you say they are now not responding to my e-mails.

Do you think it is worth flying over there to meet them? as i'm considering a holiday in Asia.

Any info you could provide on Cebu would be greatly appreciated.
