why its hard for boeing pilots ?

Do you know why it is hard to find a job for Boeing 737 pilots rather than A320 pilots ?

A320baby 11th Dec 2012 08:45

Because there are more A320 operators?

Luke SkyToddler 11th Dec 2012 09:32

Because every single wet behind the ears :mad:ing useless nitwit mummy's boy rich kid has bought themselves an A320 rating?

So, how does the comment above answer the OP's question?

At the moment, there is much more demand for experienced A320 rated pilots than B737 rated. Not sure exactly why but probably because the middle eastern and far eastern carriers have ordered more Airbus than Boeing. That has probably caused European/American Airbus pilots to look for greener grass. Obviously, someone has to fill their jobs...... Get it?

Perhaps Boeing has had a greater presence in fleets belonging to legacy airlines. This might mean that recruitment is generally based on a greater skillset as these airlines tend to recruit the man/woman for the job and then TR them rather than flog the job to the cheapest bidder.
