C208 building hour program?

Anyone know any program for the C208, including rating and building hour program? (JAA pilot license)

Now, P2F even on planes like Caravan... :ugh:
Anyway I know there is a program in Belize, but I think a FAA CPL is requested.

Hi,

Perhaps in The Netherlands. At texel airport they have a caravan and examinator. I think they use it for flying skydivers. And for sure they speak
English.

A couple years ago nato was using the caravan in former yugoslavia for transport. Very well paid!

But how and where I don't know!

I flew the caravan 208b in 2001 and 2002.

Good luck.

Have you applied to Susi Air first?

Superpilot 2nd Mar 2012 07:47

If you are in your 20s with low time and no other rating on your license you stand a 50% chance of getting into Susi if you can make the interview. I'm not kidding, give it a go. The Belize C208 P2F thing is a joke and massively over subscribed, you'll be waiting forever.

Did it

Came back from Belize myself in November after spending 3 amazing months there, don't slam something you have never tried guys. Unfortunately I think they have upped the price dramatically and its now not really worthwhile.

PM me if you want anymore details but this is the link

Hour Building : vendita pacchetti ore di volo. and Llovis is all legit. Anybody got a good contact in Susi?

For a start the C208 is not a rating, it's only an endorsement.

Still single engine but with a PT6 and below 5700kg/12500lbs.

In Oz there are operators that charge a pilot to do icus (in command under supervision) to get the required hrs for insurance and a job....Yes pilots pay here too for a job...

The van is a really good machine to fly, especially if you want to go to Africa or Indo(Susi) for a blast.

Flight Safety run a good course in the US.:ok:

Great program i did it twice, and i agree if you never try do not write, but as we all know the world belongs to everyone,so your choice, but i would refer to pilots that went down there rather that others!

aviator_ 31st Mar 2012 21:07

That looks a good course ''WF''.

Has anyone done it ? Feedback?

Rihatz 4th Apr 2012 07:51

The Precision Airwork course looks to me like it is the Belize programm! They just gonna send you to Belize from England after doing the TR with them.

I'm interested in going to Belize to get some hours on the Van and would like to hear some first hand experience.

Who has done it? What was it like?

I-NNAV 4th Apr 2012 08:32

Move On, in JAA world the 208 is a rating, (Class Rating SET Cessna, valid for Soloys and 208)...

vanpilot2 4th Apr 2012 14:37

You can get your rating and a job if you phone up any parachute centre with a van and your willing to pay for it.....that all the small print seemed to say.

Look up BPS and hunt the caravan's and get on the phone....

I would not give those other guys my cash:=

guerreiro.v 12th Apr 2012 11:26

Maybe you can if you phone any parachute centre with a van but not with less than 500h and in the beginning of the year for a summer job.

Althought I don't know if the response was to be the same if you knock personally on the doors. My opinion is that it is an ensurance minimum so there's no way to turn around that.

rating in Warsaw

You can be rated in Warsaw for instance. I do not have any comparison with other FTOs, but in Warsaw it cost 3000zl/h (750e/h). You are to undergo 3h training preceded by some hours of theory (150euro), and finally followed by an check ride 1,5h. All together cost me 14000zl previous year. Mail to HT of aviation club. Aeroklub Warszawski

regards bart.

I bet soon flight instructors will have to pay to instruct.
airline pilots pay to work, c208 pilots pay to work, ...
this industry became a misery for all of us.:{
