Flybe/FTE Scheme
Interesting to read.
Of course it is beneficial that the group size is small, in terms of those being taken on by FlyBe, and the waiting time between course completion at FTE and the TR commencing will be minimal. What are peoples thoughts? |
Anyone here been invited to phase 3 at Flybe's training academy, Exeter?
Yes I have Scott Dutch. 13th of January?
Im there on the 12th
Well done :ok: I'm there on the 10th. Anyone else?
Going to be very tough
I'll be there on the 11th. Good Luck :D
I’m probably being a bit impatient here but has anyone who recently attended the stage 3 selection down in Exeter had any information regarding their progression onto stage 4 yet? It’s coming up to 2 weeks since the selection and I presumed we would have a response either way by now.
I've not heard anything yet. But, as they said, no news no mean bad news, just mean that they didn't decide yet.
Spoke to them end of last week, said waiting on airline but should know end of this week, good luck
I'm currently on a Flybe scheme, albeit with a different FTO. Below is a link to a piece I have done on the selection etc. Hope this helps some of you.
Good luck!:ok: |
I was at phase 3... let's hope...
you guys completed all the questions? I left 4 in the first, 2 in the second, 4 at verbal reasoning and I did answer all the question in the last test (we had 25 minutes instead of 20...). I'm confident in the answers I gave, but it's a pity that the time wasn't enough for me... how much did you get on the 2 joystick tests? I got 5, 5 and 5 in the ILS, and 5, 10 and 10 on the flight sim... let me know, i'm curious :) good luck everyone! |
Thanks for the information guys, much appreciated!
Good luck |
Anyone heard anything??
Hi Jamstar,
The candidates that have been selected for the final interview with FlyBe in Exeter next week were notified earlier in the week. |
iPilot2012
I'm not sure on the exact numbers left at this stage.
Best of luck to everyone still involved. |
Good luck
Good luck to all those still involved. How much are these lucky 'part sponsored' cadets being loaned by Flybe anyway?
How much are these lucky 'part sponsored' cadets being loaned by Flybe anyway? One point to note is that the training will be completed in Jerez with FTE, which means that accommodation and meals are included in the price tag of £65k. Once training has been completed, the cadets will begin a funded type rating on the -Q400. I think the 6 selected candidates would find themselves in a very fortunate position. FlyBe is certainly a very professional and sound outfit. |
Sounds like a good scheme - would be interested to hear how long Flybe bond the pilot in for their generous £19,800?
