RSTurbo50 12th Aug 2011 12:31

Multitasking and hand eye i think i did ok, as for the rest :uhoh:

Scandinavian123 12th Aug 2011 14:14

How long did it take for you guys to get a reply from the moment that you sent in your application( giving you a invite to the online assessment)?

Sky Scratcher 12th Aug 2011 14:24

I got mine the next day. Still havent done the assessments yet though

Boe787ing 12th Aug 2011 15:20

i got a reply instantly after submitting but i am still waiting to hear back its been 2 days now.

BerksFlyer 12th Aug 2011 15:23

It took about 5 days for me to hear back I think. Bare in mind it doesn't close for applicants until the 14th.

Scandinavian123 12th Aug 2011 15:25

Ah ok, i apply from Sweden and we have another grading system(maybe that's why it takes some time). I hope they read my application because I put down a lot of effort on it :S

Sky Scratcher 12th Aug 2011 15:46

Im sure everyone put in a lot of effort

FizzyD 12th Aug 2011 17:17

Just completed all my assessments.

Hand Eye co-ordination wasn't too bad, nor was multitasking. The rest was quite standard for most aptitude tests. The numerical reasoning part was surprisingly easy considering their 'You may not complete all questions in the alloted time' warning.

Ah well, done what I can for now, all I can do is hope for the best!

G'luck!

Boe787ing 12th Aug 2011 17:38

well thats reassuring, hope they invite for the assessment fingers crossed

stella di mare 12th Aug 2011 18:07

verbal reasoning was a bit harder for a technician like me. Loads of questions in a short amount of time:) Multitasking was fun though!

RSTurbo50 12th Aug 2011 18:23

i think the verbal reasoning was perhaps the most difficult along with the 3 dimensional cube, really struggled with them two. As for the rest, so so..

Any idea when we get the results?

Scandinavian123 12th Aug 2011 18:50

What is verbal reasoning? :)

RSTurbo50 12th Aug 2011 19:00

Did people manage to do all of the verbal reasoning questions? I have to say I fell way short but I doubt there would have been an expectation to complete them all...

stella di mare 12th Aug 2011 19:30

Scandinavian123, doing the test in turkish while you are scandinavian?

Scandinavian123 12th Aug 2011 20:56

@Stella di mare, whatcho talkin' about?

Sharklet 13th Aug 2011 10:02

Does anyone who has already got an fATPL applied and been accepted or is this only for people wanting to take out their licence?

Q10 13th Aug 2011 14:19

Same here RSTurbo, Fell short as well and if you want do it good u WILL fall short. There is no way anybody can complete the whole test with good thinking about the answers.

Rest was pretty much easy ? With maths i kept thinking, this can't be this easy there must be a catch!
I loved the multitasking one :D

RSTurbo50 13th Aug 2011 18:18

Yeah the maths wasnt too bad to be fair. I found the 3 dimensional cube tough and the memory task. However, the others seemed ok i think...

Loved the multitasking, the reaction task and the final one flying through the tunnel..

Any idea when we should hear back?

docash1983 13th Aug 2011 18:43

Has anyone else had problems with the multitasking i.e getting the bloody plane to move by pressing you left mouse button. Ive tried to do it on two different comps each with different mouse and different servers e.g explorer and google and just cannot get the thing to work in the example test.
