'Unfreezing' the ATPL

I think I know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway :

LASORS states that up to 100 hours of the 1500 required to 'unfreeze' the ATPL can be in simulators. Fine and dandy. But can any of those 100 hours be used towards the 500 multi crew hours (assuming they were in a multi crew aircraft sim) ?

I'm guessing the answer is no but LASORS doesn't specifically say either way.

No mate it can't.

500 hours Multi-Pilot operations on aeroplanes type • certificated in accordance with the JAR/EASA-CS/ FAR-25 Transport Category or the JAR/EASA-CS/ FAR-23 Commuter Category or BCAR or AIR 2051

Aeroplanes not sim. I use to work in PLD at the CAA, had this question a lot, answer is definitely a no.

You must have all the flight experience before the ATPL LST too.
