Hello all!

First of, please this is not a thread to talk bad about ryr.
Im just seeking for advise from people already with this contract. How much will the accountant charge you? In your opinion are they all the same? Since I am an Italian citizen I will have to open up an Irish account (is that correct?) how much are the taxes in Ireland? One last thing (I know, a lot of questions, regarding the National Insurance Number. I read on the contract they require one. How can I get it? Thank you all for your answers. Feel free to PM me. They charge you 3% of your wage, no matter if you earn 2000euro as a new F/O or 7000Euro as a Captain, for this they pretty much do :mad: all

There all S&*t and out to rob you (your Italian so must be used to the Mafia) so this set up may seem normal to you!

As for Irish bank account, no I don't think so from talking to the guys already on the deal, Just the Irish company you have to set up and pay tax and NI in Ireland, for where you may never work or claim benefits.

If you know how you can get yourself an exemption from Irish and UK tax. The problem most FR guys have is that the accountants that they have been forced to appoint wont bother to do it as it would mean more work for them.

If you are with one of these and stuck as a director of an Irish company together with three other goons who you have never met then find a "proper" Irish tax advisor who will get your money back for you and get your tax return filed in Italy or wherever.

We all know that we had to put up with the 3% accountants (or mortgage broker as the is the case with Mcnamara)or loose our jobs. If you still want to minimise your tax liability you will still need a proper accountant.

Yes, you are allowed to position around the network for work, eg: commuting or when flying out-of-base.

Not sure if I quite made myself clear, apologies....

I have a share in a light aircraft which I frequently use.. I also do a little air taxi work on MEP aircraft, that I would like to keep current on; should I apply and work for FR....

I know in the past FR have used their pilots up to 900hr/year..I am guessing that this would outlaw any other flying?

If anyone could shed some light on this I would be most greatful!

AFAIK you get a letter from ryanairs chief pilot which states you may fly "x"number of hours outside of ryr this year...nobody will be getting anything near 900 hours in the next few years.Closer to 700 is more accurate, if even. So getting such a letter wont be any issue
