Air Contractors ATR!

Hi everyone,

is there anyone out there who could give some information about crew demand in the close future for their ATR fleet?
Will they hire any pilots this year? What is the typicall pay for a month, if someone lives in germany and works for them?

thank you

you could apply as an FO, holding pool interviews with Barry Murphy in the next couple of months...

We have too many Captains (and lots of experienced FO's waiting for an upgrade) on the roster.

So it's not too late to send an application?

Any idea when the candidates will be notified about the interview?

Thanks!

Hi Guys,
Could anyone please give me some idea of work patterns, on/off days, bases on the fleet, etc ?
All input gratefully recieved.
Many thanks. MB

Minimum requirements are an ATR type rating and (in theory) a minimum of 500hrs on type. Having done an ATR72 differences course is a plus - and you won't get a choice of all bases, some of them being overstaffed.

Cheers

I have INXS of the minimum hours mentioned above......can anyone confirm it is still Barry Murphy we have to contact ? If not who?....I wanna come back to Europe!!

hardcase 19th Jan 2010 20:02

yep, Barry is still the man to send cv to...

can anyone give an up to date typical roster for a bhx based crew? many thanks

hardcase 19th Jan 2010 22:21

S44

are you applying to ACL?? If so you "will not" get a BHX base i'm afraid.

thewho 19th Jan 2010 22:38

Is it necessary to send CV directly to Barry (I don't have his email) or this one will do [email protected]?

S44 20th Jan 2010 08:47

thewho,

many thanks... where do most newbies start... DUB?

FougaMagister 20th Jan 2010 10:44

No ATR base in DUB. UK bases (BHX, MAN, GLA) and SNN are either sufficiently staffed or overstaffed. Newbies get a choice of bases where there is a need at the time - so, probably on the Continent.

Cheers

Thanks for the info!:ok:

Bases on the continent that have shortage of crews are : PSA, PRG, WAW, SXF and AOI.

turbine100 22nd Jan 2010 14:59

Do they require 500 hours on type? Would like to find out the requirements before trying to apply and found nothing on the website.

hardcase 24th Jan 2010 18:05

pilots have joined the company with no hours on type, just depends on what pilots apply when ACL are recruiting...

i have heard that there are lots of experienced ATR drivers looking for jobs at the mo

ACL fly to PRG, WAW and AOI, but these are outstations, NOT crew bases. AMS is short-staffed too.

Yes, Birmingham-Ancona, Ancona-Birmigham, Birmigham-Ancona, Ancona-Birmingham, etc :} :}

NB: GLA is not a crewbase anymore.

NBī: There don't seem to be any crewshortage at the moment, so if ACL recruits (rumours are talking about February...), it will be to put the successful guys into a holding pool.

All the best.

FougaMagister 27th Apr 2010 22:56

Not a chance. This is JAA-land, and there are plenty of experienced applicants with a JAA ATR type rating...

Cheers

Does anybody know if ACL have any requirement for 737 Fo's?

Thanks
