Air Hong Kong

Dear ALL

I was invited to F/O interview with A 300 - 600 on behalf of AIR HONG KONG . Do you have any idea or information about interview programme ?
Thanks a lot ...

It very much depends on your hours and whether you have a TR.

Don't you agree ?

I am glad someone started a thread on AHK. I am a 250 hr cadet, and they told me that they haven't started recruitment yet for us lot. So unfortunately I can't tell you what the interview process is like.

When did you get contacted for the interview and what sort of experience do you have?

Cheers, and apologies for being nosey!

I applied also. Is it true that you need two references from inside the company? I obviously applied without the references. Just wondering does it make a big difference.... no call yet, so perhaps yes! Also a low hr pilot 350 hrs

the cadets are mostly for local people.

I am lucky enough to have a HK ID card. But I have just been back on their website to investigate and it appears the low hour requirements have been removed from the careers section and replaced with a 1000 hr jet experience requirement instead. I hope this isn't another sign of the times...

If anyone has any info on recruitment at AHK, especially for cadets it would be much appreciated.

thanks..

I am a low time pilot with HKID as well, I have CPL, CIR and close to 300 hours, currently working on my ATPL subjects.

I noticed that the ab inito DEFO has been removed from the website afew weeks ago, I was going to apply after I hav my subjects done........:(

They probably realized that they can have a sh*tload of 1000 plus hrs pilots in a heartbeat, so why take those newbies

Big shame really, back to our Cessnas again :ouch:

Comes as a bit of a shock ... a sign of testing times to come.

I even had to review a previous thread :
