FlyBE latest Interview Info Request...!!!

I've read some of the older posts on this subject and looking for any updates on the interview and sim ride i.e topics for the Tech Questions, sim profile and is it still on the 340.

My interview is next month so any info would be appreciated.

Thanks...:O

Ok, revise V speeds. What they are and what they stand for. Also learn how to read a met chart. What a warm/cold front looks like, and what sort of weather to expect at each. Erm..... what else? Oh yes, factors affecting lift, remember the 1/2 rho V squared S equation etc. To be honest the tech questions form a fairly small part of the interview and you should be able to get through them fairly easily. More importantly make sure you have researched the company thoroughly, learn the history, the routes etc. etc. and make sure you have good answers for the standard personality type questions.

Good luck!

That's good advice.

Know the difference between IAS, CAS, EAS & TAS. Why are the props at max RPM for take off and landing? What is the Q400's service ceiling, and why? Would you ever break an SOP?

And much much more importantly - do your homework on the company, know the history page on their website inside out, particularly recent developments. Be positive about everything, smile, come across as the sort of guy the interviewer wouldn't mind sitting next to for 8 hours a day.

The sim ride is still on the S340, though not for much longer according to the rumour mill. The profile is pretty straightworward - come back for advice if you get the call.

Best of luck.

The profile is sent to ALL candidates BEFORE the sim!
Try simcheck.org as they use the Beech 1900 and Saab 340 sims that you get assessed in.:ok:
