Commitment

Hello all.

I was hoping someone might be able to give me some guidance.
I have an up and coming interview at FTE.

My problem has arisen from a failed interview at OAT. I currently have zero hours and am in a career in no way related to flying. How do you prove your interest?

Apologies for possible bad etiquette this is my first post ever.

Altho I would say that showing a passion for aviation shouldnt be too hard if your mind is set on it, I would suggest learning as much as you can about the roles of FO's, airlines & thier aircraft. Perhaps also take a trial flight at your local flying school. You just basically want to show them you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be there, so by telling them you want to do all in your power to get there should help.

Well you are the only one who can answer the question.

Why am I interested in aviation?

You dont have to prove it.

It doesnt seem very wise to me though investing a lot of cash in something that you havent tried. Why not fly a few hours first to see if you like it.

Thanks very much for the advice. I have completed 2 hours trial flight and five in the cack seat of a super Decathlon. Stupidly nothing logged.
