Best place to find overseas work?

I currently am sitting at 1800hrs TT and about 140hrs multi of which 70 is twin turbo prop. Are there any companies you guys know of overseas where I could find work with these hours? Central/south american or african/middle east is all just fine. I'm just trying to see what else is out there while I'm waiting on a regional to call.

I worked in outback Australia but I have mates that went to Africa etc.

Look for where the UN's operating and find out which charter company they use. Also, look for the obvious touristy areas such as Victoria Falls and find out who's doing the scenic flights. That should give you a start.

Where is 'overseas' to you? Del Rio means nothing to me...

There are plenty more, as will be revealed by the 'search' function. Check also the regional forums here on Pprune.

hi there
Air Mauritius generally want 500hrs multi time for the ATR72, but with your hours and their need for pilots you might just have enough. Have a go!

excellent responses. I'm sorry I live in North America in Texas. I'm doing what I can to prepare for my next move. I have a few resume's out there but no hits yet. 3 days after I moved here I was offered a job in Uganda and unfortunately was unable to take.

I looked into AIR MAURITIUS and their application doesn't make much sense to me about the whole education bit. It looks like they only want natives. I guess I should add that all my ratings are FAA.

Try www.ppjn.com & send cv regardless of what the minimum hours state.

Good luck

Thanks! I haven't experimented with it yet but I'm going to tonight!

American Eagle in Dallas are desperate for pilots. Minimums are down to 800/100.
