Missing thread

I am sorry if this thread is way of topic but if I don't ask I'll never know...

I try to recall a thread with a headling "Some words of advice to wannabes at all levels" or anything similar. I think it used to be sticky under this forum but I cannot find it. I have tried searching for it but still, no result. I have read it a thousand times but when I really need it, it's all gone. Anyone remember what I do or am I just imagining?

Yes, as McGoo says, it's in the 'Archive Reference Threads -READ BEFORE YOU POST A QUESTION' sticky on the other Wannabes forum. This is where the most useful threads go after they've ended their active life in the forums. I'm not aiming this at you, 172_driver, but it's surprising how many people don't read that thread, or even think to look there before they post.
